Luxury two bedroom third floor (with lift) self-catering apartment in one of the most sought after modern buildings in quiet but central position in Juan-les-Pins. Spacious living room with two double sofa beds, dining area, TV with satellite facility, DVD,wifi, Two air-conditioned bedrooms each with twin beds, floor to ceiling cupboards. Two bathrooms with shower and WC.

Fully equipped kitchen, each room gives onto generous balcony (dining table and separate coffee/reading area) which surrounds the apartment facing south (towards the sea view) and west (with stunning sunsets over the mountains) Shared swimming pool and tennis court in the landscaped grounds.

Easy transport from Nice airport, (take No 250 airport bus direct to La Regence, Juan-les-Pins,) train (Juan-les-Pins station is just 10 minutes walk away) or car. Private taxi (60 euros each way available on request). Locally train, bus and boat are excellent, very little need for a car (hire available nearby)

Golf / Ski. : Within 15 kilometres of the apartment there are many fine sought-after golf courses. Further details available. The nearest large ski resort (open December - April) is about one hour's drive away

Sea / Sail / Fun Activities: Water sports of many kinds are represented within a few minutes walk. Hire or lessons for adults and children available in diving/snorkelling/sailing/windsurfing/motorboat fun etc.

Restaurants / shopping: Locally most of the shopping is boutique/designer small shops, whilst provisions are available from a number of medium sized supermarkets and the market in Antibes centre. Carrefour hypermarket and out of town shopping centres are all a short car drive away. Restaurants are so prolific that it is difficult to know where to start, suffice to say that they are many and varied in both quality and price!

About Jane Hunter

I bought this apartment as the ideal holiday home for my growing children, and I hope to have it still when I become a grandmother! I live in south east England but love France, and visit as often as I can. My children are now adult but still love to accompany me, these days often with their friends as well, but I think we will have more family use once they settle down!

Why Jane Hunter chose Cannes - Grasse - Antibes

The ideal position for the south of France with a family who may have different interests - there's truly something for everyone, swimming, walking, restaurants & shopping, nightlife, the buzz of a French resort, and the mountains and wild nature are just a short drive away. The train all along the coast is just 10 minutes walk away, and the bus stop is just outside.

What makes this apartment unique

Position, I think. As well as being as central as can be, it is up a no-through road, so very little noise from passing traffic. On the corner of the building, the apartment has wall to ceiling sliding doors onto the balcony with extensive views both south towards the sea and west towards the mountains.You will not believe the sunset displays!

Excellent base for family holiday

We have stayed in this apartment twice & both times we have had an excellent time. Discriptions of the property are very accurate. We have two kids (3 & 5 yr old) & the extra bathroom is a godsend. Both bathrooms have been refurbished to a very high quality on a par with any hotel. The apartment is very centrally located close to beach train station carry outs, supermarket & local restaurants. There is a local bakery which you can see from the patio & it takes 5 minutes in the morning to walk down and get steaming hot croissants & baguettes plus its does great pastries as well. The main living room is huge and has two bed settees in it plus if you bring your sky card there is a sky box as well as a video & DVD.The place was spotless when we arrived. The residents in the apartment are very friendly as well. Kitchen is adequate to cope with all your needs and has everything to make the self-catering experience excellent.

The complex is very secure with access restricted to those with specific keys to activate the doors. There are lots for the kids to do in and around Juan Les Pins and if you take your kids to the play park in the evening you’ll have the chance to meet to the locals. We found everywhere very welcoming to families. Take the little train to Antibes kids will love it and there’s a great market there as well with some great local wines available. Personably I don’t believe you need a car the rail system is so good and most of the stations are situated in the centre of the towns (exception Monaco take a taxi to the centre trust me you don’t want to walk). I’ll not bore you with all the things you can do as the guide books do that but if you’re a family this is the place to stay as you’re so near to everything. Our kids loved the place & still talk about it. Views at night from the patio are lovely and if you’re lucky enough to be there for the music festival then you’ll benefit from the sounds of jazz wafting up over the patio at night & with a good bottle of wine its hard to beat while the kids sleep.

Lovely apartment and location

Beautiful apartment with a lovely view, large balcony and a shared pool. There's everything you need in the property - kitchen utensils, coffee plunger, hair dryer, iron etc. We even found teabags and sugar there! The owner very friendly and promptly responds to queries. The location is in a quite area with a short walking distance to town centre and the beach. I would definitely come back if visiting south of France again.

Fabulous getaway

The weather was beautiful, but what made our stay was the apartment, building and grounds. It was hot ! but we loved the tennis court, cooling off in the pool and walking in the garden, wandering outside to the shops, bars and restaurants. For catering in, there are supermarkets and boulangeries just moments away, with a lovely balcony dining table, but we mostly ate out - the choice is endless. In the summer the beach and pool would both be draws for us! For trips out, the bus into Antibes stops virtually outside, the coastal train is about 10 minutes walk away, and there is always the boat from the jetty for a more romantic mode of transport. There is no need for a car unless you want to travel further afield inland.The building itself is in a quiet location protected by its gardens. The apartment has two bedrooms, both with wonderfully ample storage space, and two smallish shower rooms, which is useful if there are several of you. The kitchen is a galley, but well equipped (no microwave) and dining is either outside on the balcony or in the spacious living room. The best bit is that the apartment is on the corner of the building facing south and west, with stunning picture windows - the views from the living room are amazing! To the west there is the spectacular sunset over the foothills of the mountains, and to the south there is a glimpse of the sea through the buildings down to the beach. We will definitely return!

A tip for future visitors: the fresh food market in Antibes, is open every morning - a true tourist destination, it is also very useful for lunch!

Perfect Holiday - Again!

This was my third stay in this apartment. Need I say any more! Perfect location, quiet yet incredibly central, very easy 3-4 minute stroll into the centre of Juan Les Pins, beaches, restaurants etc. The apartment is spacious with an incredibly large terrace which can be accessed from all rooms in the property. Good kitchen with large fridge and washing machine and air conditioning in both bedrooms which works really well. Fred, the caretaker, was as usual, polite, punctual and took us to and from the airport which is really helpful. I stayed with 2 friends but this apartment would also work really well if you had children as there is a lovely pool and tennis courts on site and the property is very secure. Thanks Jane - We will be back again!

The perfect place to stay at the Riviera

This wonderful apartment with its large balcony is a perfect place for vacation. Quiet yet close to shops, restaurants and the beach. The owner was very helpful with information about how to get there and printed information and maps in the apartment helped.

Local bus fare is only 1 EUR and the train is also a very quick and pleasant way to see Nice, Cannes and othere places. Antibes is only a 30 min walk away. I can also recommend a visit to Villa Ephrussi de Rotschild at Cap Ferrat.

Wonderful 5 days in Juan les Pins

Just a quick note to say we got back home safely on Friday evening after a lovely few days in France. The weather was absolutely perfect and your apartment was ideal for us - plenty of space, bright and a lovely aspect. The large balcony provided plenty of options for different times of the day - in fact your apartment is probably one of the best in the complex. It was very quiet at night, yet we were only a few minutes walk to shops, sea etc. We hired a car for one day and went to Mougins & Grasse, while another day we took the train to Cannes. I'd certainly recommend the train as a great way to visit lots of places along the coast.

Antibes Juan-les-Pins is situated between Nice and Cannes on the mediterranean coast.Antibes,one of the oldest towns on the French Riviera,with cobbled streets, local markets,famous pleasure yacht harbour,the Picasso museum, and Fort Carre is about 15 minutes walk away. Juan-les-Pins hosts the jazz festival,and is busy with restaurants, shops, nightclubs,the casino and sandy beaches and the centre of town is just a few minutes away through the 'Pinede' green park areas, where you can stop to watch a game of boules.
