4 bedroom, 3 bath home in the City
About Property Manager/Owner
Transplanted from Indiana and England. Though we never intended on settling in Atlanta , 30 years later we call it our home. We own and operate a Tour Operator, Lost World Adventures.
Property Manager/Owner purchased this House in 2007
Why Property Manager/Owner chose Decatur
We fell in love with all the architectural elements of the home. Newly renovated in 2007, the builder incorporated architectural antiques making the style distinctive. The Kitchen attracted us right away as we always wanted a large dining table like so many of the Italian kitchens of Beth's childhood.
What makes this House unique
Leafy quiet neighborhood which is so close to everything in Atlanta. Decatur offers so much even closer.

Delightful, Warm, Inviting and Love Filled!
I rented this home for a family vacation/celebration of my daughter' graduation from a college in the area. The house was more than we could have hoped for. Every detail was thought of. The Gilchrests were attentive and responsive. The home is beautiful, whimsical and just delightful. Our family felt pampered, warm invited and secure. The house is a home away from home. Thank you for sharing your home with others!
Oakhurst, Decatur and Atlanta are vibrant areas that offer much to do. Wylde Community Garden is just a couple of blocks in Oakhurst and Downtown Decatur less than a mile away. Our favorite museum is The Carlos on the Emory Campus, mummies and artifacts from ancient cultures are the draw. The museum is just big enough and the bookstore worth browsing. For one of the best experiences in Atlanta, visit the Civil Rights Museum in Olympic Park in Downtown Atlanta. While the MLK center is also of interest, the CRM offers a broad view of the history.
