Perfect place to come home to.
We put 1000 miles on our car in a weeks time. This trip was fantastic! Saw lots of color. We had all read a 3 book series called Bryson City Seasons, BC Tales, BC Secrets by Walt Larimore who got his doctorate degree from Duke University. Had to pay a visit to BC and even spoke with an individual who knew him. So fun. The mountains were gorgeous... we saw a lot but so great to come home to no sirens, no traffic, just a serene place, a trail and horses. The twin beds were a bit too soft for those who slept in them but made it work. Fabulous week Fabulous place !!!
A little bit of heaven
Wish we could've stayed forever it was absolutely perfect
Beautiful Log Cabin Retreat
Fully stocked. Clean. Lake is beautiful, I wish we had some canoes. Fishing was fun for all of us. If ever in the area would love to stay here again. Thanks for having us.
This cabin is in a beautiful, secluded setting. Enjoyed setting out on the porch drinking coffee in the mornings and watching the deer. It had everything we needed.
Getaway to the mountains
The cabin was as advertised and clean. Steve was a great host, good communication, and we appreciate the flexibility of a late checkout. Definitely would go back.
I am the type of person who gives four stars for a very good experience because I believe in saving 5 stars for something special. This is a 5, if not 6, star listing. The setting is peaceful and tranquil. The amenities provided are above and beyond, including a full kitchen with an assortment of cookware, a rocking chair in the bedroom with the twin beds, toiletries in each bathroom, a fire pit, a washer and dryer, an iron/ironing board, and a grill to name a few. Like a previous review noted, the house was spotless! It is a great place for families- my daughter loved watching the horse graze in the pasture. Overall, a wonderful experience. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again in the future!
