Very Zone 1
Very well situated. The studio is noisy but it is the noise of lives being led so is interesting. The main window is great for people watching.
Wonderful location. Charming view.
New and modern apartment. Futon takes a bit of getting used to but comfortable. Lots of hot water. Nice shower. Very active neighbourhood but calm after 9:30. Market very exciting and not a noise problem with ear plugs. I’m a light sleeper. Excellent washing machine. Lots of cupboards. Elevator.
Comfortable, clean, and close to the action
Thank you so much for our stay with you. We enjoyed your rental and its location thoroughly. The window is fantastic, and the apartment itself was very clean and cozy. I would definitely stay here again.
Great Location - Comfortable Stay
We spent 4 nights at this location and really enjoyed it. I was a tad nervous about the meat market being directly outside and working all through the night into the morning hours, however, if you shut the bathroom door and draw the curtains in the main area and make sure those bottom windows are shut as well, you really don't hear anything at all - which was great! The bed is a futon in the main living space, which I forgot about until we arrived, but again, totally comfortable. The only suggestion I would make is to Google the appliances you're using (oven and laundry). If you do that, you'll be able to use the appliances well and all will be good. But if you're not familiar with European appliances, it can be intimidating. Just a quick Google search and you'll be set. (PS - we followed the Google instructions and our load took about 3 hours from full wash to slightly damp dry. It is a washer/dryer combo which is cool.)
The location is great - just outside the main touristy area but also next to a lot of great pubs and restaurants. Seems like a main hub during the week for working folks, lots of hustle and bustle. I would highly recommend Ask for Janice around the corner from the flat and The Hope across the way through the Meat Market area. Both are cute little spots with TONS of Gin options (if you're into gin) and good food. There is also a pub right below the flat which was PACKED every night while we were there so we didn't try it. But don't worry, it usually clears out no later than 11 and again, if you shut the bathroom door and your main area windows, not much noise gets through. You're also near 2 tube stops which helps get you around the city easily. We also popped in for breakfast at a place called Joe's Kitchen which was roughly a 10 minute walk from our place (we were en route to pick up the Hop On/Hop Off bus) and it was delicious! The places I've listed above we also found to be reasonably priced (and we hail from Los Angeles!). I think it's part of the perk of not being directly in the touristy area.
Anyway - yes - would definitely recommend this location! Thanks for a great stay!
Location was perfect!
Alejandro was great, very responsive and met us at the apartment, showed us in and around! We didn't spend much time in the room other than for sleeping because the place was so conveniently located next to the Tube, Train and Hop on Hop Off tour buses near St. Paul's Cathedral. The bed as a little rough but we managed!
Thank you Alejandro!
Good location, property just as described
We really enjoyed our stay here in London. This apartment is centrally located and we had no problem exploring all over the city. Lots of food and conveniences nearby. We stayed here over a long weekend so it wasn't an issue, but apparently the nearby meat market makes a lot of noise very early in the morning. Host provided us with earplugs even thought we didn't need them!
