Villa Isabel is an excellent choice for families and couples alike. Located in Urb La Exotica just 2000m from the centre of Nerja & the beach.

The villa is in an elevated position that gives it dramatic views over the resort and sea, it provides high quality accommodation in a peaceful setting.

Accommodation comprises 3 air conditioned bedrooms (1 double & 2 twins), 2 bathrooms (1 with bath & 1 with shower), comfortable lounge with feature fireplace & sat TV. A specious dining area & large fitted kitchen. The interior decoration is soft pastel colours, which together with the rustic and pine furnishings create a homely atmosphere.

One of its biggest attractions is the pretty garden, which is lovingly cared for and decked with colourful flowers, as well as a leafy lemon tree. The villa also boasts a fantastic barbecue area and pool terrace, which is accessed by steps and provides a prime spot for perfecting your tan and revelling in the views over the coast.

Overlooking the pool, which is furnished with sun loungers and a seating area, there is a raised terrace offering sunny and shaded areas.

Nerja!! The jewel of the Costa del Sol. Probably the best climate in Europe!! Nerja is a coastal town at the foot of the Almijara mountains with a long tradition of fishing and agriculture. The fishermen still pull their nets ashore on Burriana beach and fresh produce can still be bought from the doorways of local people's houses. The weekly market (Tuesdays) attracts many traders and shoppers from all over the region and the town centre has a vibrant, friendly atmosphere with many lovely shops and tapas bars & restaurants.

Fabulous Villa

Our family and friends have just enjoyed a wonderful 16 night stay at Villa Isabel. The Villa is very well equipped and maintained. We all enjoyed a daily swim in the pool, and enjoyed many relaxing meals (including BBQ's) sat on the terrace looking over to the mountains. The Villa is within easy walking distance of the Balcon in Nerja and the Lidl Supermarket. I would thoroughly recommend Villa Isabel.

A place in Paradise!

We just loved Villa Isabel. It was all that was described and more! Such a beautiful garden and so well kept. We have never stayed in a more well- maintained and clean holiday home. And we loved the privacy. We met the owner and his wife, which was a bonus - such a lovely couple.

Really hope we have a chance to visit again.

Very beautiful vila in Nerja

Vila Isabel is a very beautiful place. At our arrival , we were nicely surprised to discover in first time a beautiful garden with many flowers near the barbecue. The pool is big enough and clean.

About the inside part of Vila Isabel , the house is very well equipped .

We met the owners when they came to clean the pool and water the flowers and they are very nice people .

Thanks a lot , it was just perfect .

Nearby towns of Frigiliana & Torrox offer the experience of authentic Spanish whitewashed villages. The world famous Caves are located in Maro just 3 km east of Nerja. Baviera Golf Course is within 15 mins drive & the ski resort of the Sierra Nevada, Granada is just 2 hours drive. Ski & dine on the beach on the same day! Walking is very popular in the Sierra de Almijaras.

For those in search of retail therapy, there is a good selection of shops & boutiques in Nerja & large shopping centre at Velez Malaga. Malaga city offers excellent shops & restaurants together with a great insight in to the history of the area. The Cathedral & Bull Ring are well worth a visit.

When visiting this region for the first time, it doesn't take long to understand how it has come to be one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The narrow strip of land sandwiched between the Mediterranean and the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range which has come to be known as the Costa del Sol offers a wealth of geographical, historical and cultural attractions. Activities available locally include hiking, golf, tennis, fishing, horseback riding, wildlife sightseeing trips, all manner of watersports and even skiing in the mountains.

The great Arab cities of Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba and Malaga contain some of the finest examples of Moorish architecture in Europe and are all day-trips from Nerja. A few miles inland from Nerja, Frigiliana, one of dozens of whitewashed villages that pepper the foothills of the Almijaras, is a beautiful example of a humbler form of Moorish architecture, with its steep narrow streets only passable on foot or donkey.

In more recent times, Catholocism has been a dominant cultural influence in Spain and although the church's influence has decreased over the last 50 years, during Franco's repressive regime, the people used the religious festivals as an opportunity to gather in public in large numbers and party !! These traditions are still very strong today and all the locals come out and participate in the Fiestas. Some of Nerjas most enjoyable festival include Carnival in February, Semana Santa from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday, San Isidro Romerio around May 15th when all the people get dressed up and walk/dance to Maro, San Juan around 25th June when bonfires are lit on the beaches, everyone gathers and enjoys a barbecue before going into the water at midnight and in October there is a 6-day fair.

Day trips include Marbella with its famous Puerto Banus marina, and also Granada with its magnificent Alhambra Palace, as well as the classical city of Seville. Golf can also be enjoyed only 15 mins. drive away at Baviera Golf close to Caleta de Velez and also at Anoreta Golf at Rincon de la Victoria. The Water world is a must for all the family at Torre del Mar.
