Holiday cottages sleep 2/10 in old Alsatian house in the heart of the ramparts

The Chemin de Ronde is adjacent to the Porte de Munster (monument dating from the 14th century), one of the 3 historic access to enter the medieval village. Located on the circuit of the night watchman, you will stay in the ramparts with views of the village via the skylights. We will welcome you in a fully renovated house (2013-2014) that mixes authenticity with heritage and modernity, a typical place to spend pleasant holidays in Alsace. The village is located on the very beautiful Alsace Wine Route and at the gates of the Munster Valley that gives you the opportunity to reach the different summits of the Vosges. The house consists of 3 holiday cottages with separate entrance to sleep 2/6 people (you can rent the 3 holiday cottages for a capacity of 10 people on around 220 m²). You will stay in a former Winstub, typical Alsatian restaurant. The apartment consists of an entrance, a living room with sofa and flat screen television, a dining area, a fitted open plan kitchen and a separate toilet. The first floor is accessible via sandstone stairs. You will find a relaxation area (where it is possible to install an extra double sofa-bed), a bedroom equipped with 140x190 cm bed, a bedroom equipped with 2x80x190 cm beds (that you can join to make a large bed) and a bathroom equipped with bath, vanity unit, toilet and washing machine/tumble dryer. Sheets, house linen and bath linen are included. You will have the opportunity to park your car on a free car park 20 m away. A baby cot and a high chair are provided upon request.

Beautiful property in a perfect Alsace Village

We stayed in the 2 bedroom Winstub in September and were 2 adults and 1 dog. The cottage is just wonderful, it's really well equiped with everything you would need for a comfortable holiday. There is parking 1 min walk away, there is a great living space downstairs with a kitchen, dining table and a living area with sofa, chairs and a TV. Plus there is a small toilet downstairs as well. Upstairs there are 2 beautiful bedrooms, a good bathroom (with a washing machine) and a small living area. There is a great bakery less than 5 mins walk away and then within a 10 minute walk into town there is everything you could need - restaurants, cafes, a small supermarket, shops and more bakeries. Turckheim is a beautiful Alsace town, but without all the masses of tourists that you get in other local towns, it's beautiful to walk around and it's really easy to get to other towns to enjoy your holiday in the Alsace region. Plus there is a train station into Colmar from Turckheim so it really does have everything you could need. We will definitely be back to this great holiday cottage.

Wunderbare Ferienwohnung in idealem Ferienort

Sehr schöne renovierte, sehr geschmackvoll und umfassend eingerichtete (prima Küchenausstattung) Wohnung auf zwei Etagen (Souterrain und Hochpaterre), dazwischen eine recht enge Wendeltreppe. Im Sommer angenehm kühl, Parkplätze in direkter Umgebung.

Sehr gepflegt und sauber, Abbildungen stellen eine Mischung aus mehreren Wohnungen dar.

SEHR freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter, sprechen gut deutsch, wie anderswo erwähnt sehr leckere Aufmerksamkeiten zum Empfang.

Lage ist ruhig, nahezu kein Duchgangsverkehr, abends singt kurz der berühmte Nachtwächter.

Ort zentral im Elsass gelegen, ideale Basis, pittoresk, gleichzeitig kaum Tourismustrubel, 2 Bäcker, 2 Cafes, ein kleiner Supermarkt, div. Restaurants.
