Reboleira Side is on the 1st floor and is served by an elevator. With 1 bedroom, the apartment is convenient for up to 4 people. If you visit Porto you will inevitably go to the area of Ribeira, beside the river, so why not stay there? This apartment came as advertised and was surprisingly quiet, on a back street but close to the tourist area. The staff at go2oporto located next door were very helpful and Joana recommended some good restaurants nearby (try Adega São Nicolau). It had all the facilities we needed (it could use better lighting in the bedroom). Yes, the shower was small so be prepared if you are a large person but that's expected in a renovated historic building.
We stayed two nights in this apartment and enjoyed our stay. The apartment was quant, clean and very functional. The pictures represent it well. Though there is not a view of the city or water the narrow location is representative of the area and is fun in its own way. Pretty windows open on to the steet and it is a great place to hear the festivities and people watch. The location to the Douro, restaurants is perfect. You are 15-20 min beautiful walk across the bridge to the wine caves. If you want a fun off tourist port walk go down to Coburns (up the hill) then take the alley walk to Crofts along a historic pathway.
Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer Gasse, die parallel zum Douro-Ufer verläuft. In 1 Minute ist man an der Uferpromenade mit ihren Restaurants und Bars. In 10 Minuten gelangt man ueber die berühmte Brücke auf die andere Flussseite, wo man die zahlreichen Portwein-Lodges besuchen kann. Das Apartment ist klein, aber ansprechend eingerichtet und sauber. Da es in einer engen Gasse liegt, ist es allerdings ziemlich dunkel, dafür aber im Sommer sicher angenehm kühl.
