Fully equipped 4 bdr / 2 bathrooms guest house in a quiet residential area

Back in the 18th century, the Moulin de Bellevue (the “Beautiful views Mill”) was one of the largest water mill of the region. For those seeking comfort, character and style, we have now renovated it into a modern and comfortable guest house whilst keeping its soul and some of its original 18th century features. The half-metre thick stone walls keep the building cool in the summer and warm in winter, making it an ideal retreat throughout the year. The mill offers everything you need for perfect holidays with family and friends:

- The entire mill section across two floors over a 150 sqm surface to accommodate up to 10 people comfortably

- The ground floor is a large open plan kitchen with double sink and large work surface area. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern equipment including oven, stoves, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine, cutlery and linen.

- A large open entertainment area including a welcoming wooden dining table and living room with wooden floor throughout, original beams and stone walls

- The first floor includes four bedrooms (three with double beds, one with two single bunk-beds, plus two mattresses if required). If you wish, we can also provide you with bed sheets for 4 euros per single beds and 8 euros per double bed.

- Two bathrooms, including one en-suite bathroom with shower, double sinks and toilets, and one family bathroom with bath tube, and two separate toilets. Bath towels are provided for all the guests.

- The accommodation is equipped with TV, hifi and wi-fi internet access throughout

- The mill has a very enviable south facing sun-drenched garden so you get the sun all day, which makes it great for children or long lunches with friends and family. Your will have your private access to the mill, parking space and outdoor equipment, including outdoor furniture, umbrella and barbecue.

Our family, who speaks French and English, live the house next door to the mill. We will be delighted to welcome you the day of your arrival, show you the property, give you the keys and make sure that you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. We'll be happy to help you shape your itinerary, and give you a few tips and advices on good adresses to discover the region, if you wish to. We are also available in case of help or emergency. Your privacy and quietness is paramount to us.

The mill is very conveniently situated in a residential area of Saint-Paul-Trois-Chateaux, which makes it a very quiet and peaceful place where you will not be bothered by the noise of cars. But it is also within walking distance of all the old town’s activities and amenities such as:

- A great selection of Provencal cafes and restaurants terraces in the old town for different tastes and budgets, such as pizzeria, provencal bistros and gastronomic restaurants.

- However, weekly food markets provide such excellent produce you might prefer to use the well equipped kitchen and eat on the terrace during the summer. The market is a perfect opportunity to discover local specialities (fruits, vegetables, olive oil, cheese) and meet local producers.

- Bakeries, convenience stores, news agencies, supermarkets and wine stores

Cinema, concert hall, sport facilities, bowling and bars.

- If required, banks, post office, pharmacies, gas station, and GPs.

Saint-Paul-Trois-Chateaux is the ideal place to stay to discover the beautiful drome provencale region. We fell in love with this hidden gem and have decided to renovate it to enable guests from all around the world to discover this beautiful and quite unspoiled region of France with their family and friends. The mill is a family run guest house. My sister Nathalie and my brother in law Yannik who live the house next door to the mill, will welcome you during your stay. Nous en somme surpris et souhaiterions en comprendre les raisons plus en detail, notamment ce que vous entendez par ‘etouffante’ - S’il s’agit de la température, nous avons la climatisation a votre disposition - et ‘robotisé’ car nous faisons notre mieux pour contacter nos vacanciers avant leur sejour et les accueillir sur place quand c’est possible. Enfin concermant le linge de maison, comme l’annonce l’indique nous fournissons torchons et serviettes a nos vacanciers. N’hesitez pas a nous contacter pour de plus amples explications. Très bon week-end dans cette jolie propriété, spacieuse et confortable. Le jardin et la Ferme aux Crocodiles à proximité ont ravi les enfants. La grande pièce à vivre a permis des belles tablées et des soirées agréables autour des 3 canapés.

Seul petit point noir du séjour : la propreté de la vaisselle, que nous avons dû refaire avant chaque utilisation.

Maison sympathique mais la présentation sur le site est un peu trompeur

Nous avons passés un agréable séjour même si l’arrivé était un peu décevant. En effet on ne s'attend pas à avoir à quelques mètres de la terrasse un lotissement fraichement construit (la maison la plus proche n'était pas encore habité mais cela saura tarder). Le lotissement a l'avantage de cacher la vue sur la centrale nucléaire du Tricastin.

Quand à l'équipement de la maison un petit effort sera nécessaire. La maison est pour 8 personnes (+2).

Pas d'aspirateur alors que la maison est quand-même assez grande, un séchoir de linge minuscule, une machine à café qui mets 25 minutes pour remplir une cafetière, 1 robinet qui n'est pas fixé, 1 chasse d'eau qui sort du mur...

Nous avons été, malgré ces surprises, très bien accueilli et le beau-frère du proprio qui habite dans la maison également à été dispo quand il y avait besoin.

On a renove le moulin il y a deux ans seulement, donc on est c'est toujours important pour nous de recevoir des suggestions d'amelioration de nos vacanciers. Concernant les petits elements dysfonctionnels, on aurait ete ravis de les remplacer ou reparer si vous nous les aviez signale pendant votre sejour. Nous sommes desoles si vous avez ete decus a votre arrivee. En revanche, je ne pense pas que la presentation soit trompeuse. Le moulin est effectivement situe dans un quartier residentiel, l'un des plus calmes de Saint-Paul, et a la fois proche du centre ancien. Quant a la centrale du Tricastin, elle est situee a plus de 6 km de Saint-Paul Trois Chateaux. Ma soeur et mon beau frere qui accueillent les vacanciers habitent la maison mitoyenne au moulin, et en general les vacanciers apprecient, car ils sont la pour repondre aux questions et besoins des vacanciers. Mais il est important pour nous que vous soyez satisfaits, aussi nous serons ravis de vous offrir une 3e nuit gratuite lors de votre prochain week-end au moulin. A tres bientot a Saint-Paul,

4 jours de bonus au soleil fin Octobre

Location en famille (3 couples : 6 adultes et 6 enfants) dans un ancien moulin restauré à St Paul Trois Châteaux. Bien aménagé avec 1 étage pour la journée (grande cuisine bien équipée ouvert sur salle à manger et salon) et 1 étage pour la nuit (4 chambres dont une assez petite pour les enfants + 2 salle de bains et wc indépendant).

Extérieur tout aussi plaisant avec jardin pour partie de foot, coin barbecue et terrasse pour repas au soleil...

Propriétaire non présent, son beau-frère et sa sœur (maison mitoyenne) vous accueille et vous surveille !!!

Propriété idéalement placée non loin du centre ville, et proche :

- de nombreuses activités : La Ferme aux crocodiles, bowling, centre aquatique,...

- de découvertes gastronomiques : nombreuses caves avec quelques vins renommés ou non mais tout aussi appréciable, nougat de Montélimar,...

- de découvertes patrimoniales : châteaux de Grignan, Suze-la-Rousse, villages typiques de la Drôme provençale,...

Nous avons profité de conditions météo exceptionnelles fin octobre (autour de 25°C la journée), ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus appréciable

Cela reste un très jolie région à découvrir plus amplement sur un séjour plus long

Saint-Paul-Trois Chateaux is the capital of the Tricastin, a natural and historic region in the Southern Rhone Valley between Drome and Provence.
