Clean, spacious and very well equipped.
Had a brilliant week at Bev and Livys apartment. Couldn't recommend them more as hosts, they picked us up and dropped us at the airport, helped us to arrange car hire and gave us lots of useful info in the local area . Livs welcome rum punch is amazing. The apartment feels private and surrounded by a gorgeous garden , we saw humming birdsand monkeys by day and fireflies at night .
We felt so at home and enjoyed our walk home up the hill from the bus stop. We have never been to a more friendly place . We hope to come back soon .
It was our sincere pleasure to host you. We are so happy that you enjoyed the villa, the natural setting and the rum punch! Come back anytime for more!

Dear Mark & Regina, it was absolutely lovely to have you stay, and we're pleased that you enjoyed the gardens as well... Livy spends his mornings in the garden and is very proud of the results. We will look forward to your return!
A beautiful property, spacious, exceptionally clean and highly maintained
We have had a wonderful week at DeeDee Villa.
We were so impressed - so much space and light and the accommodation was maintained to a high standard.
The location is beautiful and peaceful.
A car would be useful but we didn’t mind the walk to and from beaches and the main road.
Bev and Liv are the perfect hosts and are there if you needed anything at all.
We would love to come back and stay at DeeDee Villa again 😃
Thank you! We were very pleased to meet you and hope you return again soon! Bev & Livy
Beverly and Dee were very accommodating and their home was very nice! Clean and comfortable!
We are happy you enjoyed your stay at Dee Dee Villa and hope to see you back on the Island again!
Wonderful holiday in Barbados!
This was our first experience of a HomeAway property and we were absolutely delighted! Bev and Livy were superb hosts. They collected and returned us to the airport and also arranged a very competitive car hire package for us.The property itself was immaculately clean, extremely well equipped and very comfortable. Bev and Livy were very helpful during our stay, advising us of such things as where to shop, local transport details and the best beaches. Livy is a retired chef and offers his services for meals during your stay.and we took advantage of this one evening and were delighted with his excellent cooking. We would not hesitate to return and would recommend Dee Dee Villa most highly. Thank you so much Bev and Livy!
Thank you for your kind words. We enjoyed sharing the wonderful Island flavours of Barbados with you! We hope you will visit us again.
Comfy little flat
We enjoyed our stay at DeeDee Villa while in Barbados for 3 days. Our hosts, Bev & Liv were super friendly and helpful! They also provided us with some beverages in the fridge, which was great to have during the week. We paid Liv to cook us breakfast one morning, and it was exceptional! We probably should have had him cook more meals for us!
There is a bus stop right outside the property, but it's somewhat infrequent & often unpredictable, so plan accordingly. We walked down the hill to the main road to catch a bus there. It took about 12 minutes to get down the hill, but we chose to not walk back up it upon return & took the long bus route back to the stop at the house. Great way to see lots of the island culture!
Liv & Bev were very kind in assisting us with rides to the beach and to the grocery store with a small fee to do so.
Folkstone Park Marina had large amounts of reef fish, & we were able to lock our valuables inside a locker in the rental shop. We walked down to the area in front of the Coral Reef hotel to put our towels and snorkle.
Regarding the accommodations:
The living space was large & gave us plenty of room to spread out, & the kitchen is quite large. There were a few absent items that could have improved the functionality for cooking & eating meals, including a sheet/baking pan, some tongs, & some cereal bowls. Another thing noticeably absent was a garbage can in the kitchen.
The TV is a little hard to see with the angle and distance that it's at from the couch, but we didn't watch a lot of TV so we didn't fret too much about it.
It was a little muggy to enjoy the patio, but there were some nice lounge chairs provided. I wish I'd thought to bring out the portable fan to enjoy them!
The master bedroom was a good size as well, with a ceiling fan to help move the air around. The master bed was pretty hard, but that could be remedied with an eggcrate mattress topper or a memory foam topper, so hopefully the hosts consider adding one. We made due by putting some extra comforters from the closet underneath the sheet for extra cushioning.
The bathroom is a little snug, but the etagere over the toilet gave us loads of room for our toiletry bags. The shower is quite large.
We didn't use the second bedroom for sleeping, but I did use it as a dressing room & I appreciated the full length mirror.
The gardens were beautiful & well kept.
We highly recommend this vacation rental if you want to be away from the beach scene.
Thank you for your kind review. We are happy to report that we considered your excellent suggestions and have made many upgrades including expanded kitchen tools, a shiny new waste bin, and a more comfortable mattress. The air conditioning unit keeps the flat comfortable and our guests have been very happy with the new artwork and linens. The bus service is quite good now, and there are taxis available at all times of day, alternatively we enjoy providing this service to our guests at a reduced rate as well. We hope you will join us again someday soon! We pride ourselves on providing an authentic experience here in beautiful Barbados.
