Adventure Cabin is secluded, but near to town and a quick drive to Breckenridge. Tucked in the middle of an aspen grove, you'll enjoy hikes out the front door, watching clouds roll over the Mosquito Mountains and cozying up by the fire. In the heart of Colorado mining history, you'll pass old miners cabins on your drive up, and can see the London Mine up the road. Our place is good for couples and families who like to adventure and relax in quiet and solitude.
We require a 2 night minimum.
The cabin is 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. We also have a sofa that becomes a comfortable queen size bed in the living room. The cabin sleeps 4-6 adults comfortably, but keep in mind there is only one (small) bathroom.
We have a fully stocked kitchen! Options for eating out are somewhat limited, so we really like cooking meals together at the cabin. We have pots, pans, most utensils, plates, etc. We do not, however, have a dishwasher or microwave. Let me know if you have specific questions about what is in the kitchen.
Cell service at Adventure Cabin is nonexistent. We do have satellite wifi, but that is dependent on weather and is not super fast. It is great for emails, imessages, etc. but don't plan on streaming movies or videos. We do have a landline for emergencies. There is no TV. If you want to watch movies, we suggest watching DVDs on your laptop! Get ready for a (semi)unplugged time away in the mountains!
Adventure cabin is located in the high country, at 10,500 feet above sea level. If you are coming from sea level, we recommend spending a night in Denver before coming up to help you adjust. Be sure to stay hydrated before and during your stay, drinking lots of water. We want you to enjoy your stay, so be sure to familiarize yourself with signs of altitude sickness and ways to prevent it before you visit.
