Vermont Ski Trip 2020
Always a great time in this rustic farmhouse, It's what you think of when you think of Vermont. Very friendly, clean, rustic in a beautiful way. Nice quiet area but not to far from lovely Woodstock and Quechee. All the best Ski areas just a short drive away. Cant wait till next year Thanks.
Wonderful property but not young family friendly
We had a wonderful time in the secluded location and snowy back yard. The house was clean for a rustic feel property. Dirt roads leading up to the house made a 4WD vehicle a must. Power went out for a portion of the stay, with no generator back up. Wood stoves were nice, but there were no tools to accompany them. Older portion of the home had gorgeous beams, and the skylights and windows made it very bright. Large sleeping area above the garage vibrated with the heating unit right below, no over head lights in some bedrooms, game room wasn’t functional/useable; this entire part of the home seemed to be a work in progress. Lots of art work everywhere, including several pieces with full nudity that made for interesting conversations with my grade schoolers. Seems to be a great home for families with older kids.
Great house for a big group
House fits 3+ families comfortably. Cozy, warm and close to great skiing.
Had a great time and the house was perfect for us.
Once we found the house, GPS sent us on a bit of a wild goose chase, we had a lovely week. It is close to several ski resorts and the skiers in the group traveled to at least two of them. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools we needed to cook meals. All ten of us could fit around the table at one time so we were able to have meals together. Any questions or problems we had were quickly taken care of by the caretaker Debbie. The house was comfortable and clean and had character.
