It has a good bed, so we had a positive experience. Be aware that it gets really hot inside and so we had to sleep with the window open which was difficult considering it's right off the highway and it's very bright out in the summer. It was dusty and I assume that's because there's only one window. Also, it says fully stocked kitchen but there are no measuring cups or spoons, and all the dishes are chipped. So if you want to cook for yourself while you're there, be aware of that. Overall, a good experience though.

Nice Place, Maintenance Not So Nice
When I got there the trash can was full with a couple gnats around it. There was a used dish rag in the sink and a used washcloth on the floor of the shower. There was hair on the shower floor and lots in the drain. The bed was sloppily made. I was concerned that it hadn't been cleaned since the last guests stayed, but since I checked in on the weekend, I didn't get a response until the next day about this. I was informed that the person who cleaned had just left the trash from cleaning in the apartment. There was no light in the bathroom. They decided to replace the light while I was staying there, but to do this, they took out the bathroom fan. They didn't replace the light and fan until the next day. I don't know why they didn't do this before I checked in. The chairs were wobbly and one of them seemed unsafe to sit in. It was difficult to sleep because it is near the highway and the cars were incredibly loud. Otherwise though, it is in a nice location with many local restaurants, coffee stands, parks, and a movie theatre in walking distance. The bed was comfortable and there were adequate dishes for cooking. I appreciated the Roku TV.

This lodging was very small and clean, and the little kitchen was well equipped. There is no staff on site, and you let yourself in. We discovered that the light was out in the bathroom. I called the property manager after hours. She called back the first thing the next morning and sent over a handyman to fix it. He never could fix it but plugged in a night light so we had some light in the bathroom. He also kept us informed on his work. So, this is a compact unit, but that was expected. The non-functional bathroom light was a problem, expecially because there is no staff on site. However, the property manager and the handyman both did their best to solve our problem. I think the light malfunction must have been uncharacteristic because they tried so hard to fix it. Absence of staff on site is a problem, but that keeps the price down, and the staff's reaction to our problem was excellent.
