About Joyce and David Anteau
We took over the property in 2000. My aunt and uncle, Tony and Tessie Moreno, purchased the 3 acres of bare land in 1923. When they passed, we decided to keep the business alive during the summers.
Joyce and David Anteau purchased this Cottage in 2000
Why Joyce and David Anteau chose Ray Brook
The cottages have been totally refurbished and modernized, but still maintain the rustic Adirondack feel.

One night stay short but perfect
Our stay was perfect. The owners were awesome and so kind with us. Such welcoming and caring. Cute little gem founded near by lake placid and adirondacks mountain area. Loved are stayed!
We work very hard at making our guests feel welcome and right at home. We enjoy sharing our knowledge of the area and our experiences here.
Loved the little cabin. I hope I can stay again.
Easy to book. I was able to contact the owners and get quick feedback on wanted I needed to know.
Cozy peaceful cabin. 10 minutes from downtown. Staff was outstanding! Will definitely be back
Great place to stay
Cabin was great. Met the owners. Were very helpful with anything we needed.
My only issue was I thought the towels would be changed out each day but they were not. We only had one set of towels for two nights.
Cottages do not offer maid service. Normally guests do not have a problem using the same towel twice. If asked, we would have exchanged used towels for fresh ones.
Located off of Route 86 between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid in the heart of the Adirondak Park. Minutes from all the Olympic attractions. Walking distance from Scarface mountain trail head and Mckenzie pond bouldering area.
