Very nice property, great location and fun had by all.
Perfect says it all!
Clean, sleek, awesome location in London. 3/3 outstanding modern conveniences. Despite tragically old pillow slips (we forgive you Sergio) everything exceeded our expectations. BOOK IT!
Great location and perfect for New Year’s Eve
We rented this apartment during the week of New Year’s. It is very well located, just a few minutes walk from the Embankment stop on the underground. We were 5 adults and 2 grown children who shared the pull-out bed in the living room. The apartment is comfortable but stocked for maybe just 7, so we needed to wash dishes after each meal so that we would have them for the next. The glassware was limited but the property management did what he could to find a few more for our group. Because of the holidays, communication was a little slower at the beginning of our stay than I think it would normally be. We had an issue with the wi-fi a few days into our stay which was quickly fixed. Lastly, I felt very safe in this neighborhood. The streets near the residents who live here were barricaded on New Years Eve so that only the residents could view the fireworks from our street and not the general public. We could see the London Eye and the fireworks from our street near the Embankment park which was a real treat for our family!
This is a truly beautiful and well-appointed flat in a wonderful location. Traveling to London for the first time, I could not have chosen a better one. The only complaint that I have is that there was no air conditioning (I’m American) and it was rather warm in August. There were fans in each room and sweet Dario at the desk found extra ones. The street noise was a little loud in the master, but we did have the windows open for cool air.
After experiencing a broken hip in the middle of our trip, the owner Sergio allowed us an extra night and offered to find us another flat since we were having to stay 3 more weeks. Dario could not have been any kinder and was most helpful in every way with any questions we may have had...thank you! You will not be disappointed!!!
Covent Garden is a district in London, England, located on the eastern fringes of the West End, between St. Martin's Lane and Drury Lane. The area is mainly associated with the former fruit and vegetable market located in the central square which is now a popular shopping and tourist site, and the Royal Opera House, which is also known as "Covent Garden". The area is divided by the main thoroughfare of Long Acre; north of which is mainly given over to independent shops centred on Neal's Yard and Seven Dials, while the south contains the central square with its street performers, and most of the elegant buildings, theatres and entertainment facilities, including the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, and the London Transport Museum.
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized
lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is
not just considered the heart of this bustling London
hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this
esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as
well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most
popular cultural attractions including the National
Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to
these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs
to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on
the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory
events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
