April 05 We have been to Barbados several times but never in such a beautiful setting as Ocean Blues.A big thanks to Marci. Natalie & Dave
Oct.05 We have had 10 wonderful days at Ocean Blues - everything has been fantastic - snorkelling with the fishes, watching the birds and sunsets, exploring the island, - sheer heaven. Marci has looked after us very well. We've loved every minute and are very sad to go. However, we'll be back very soon and for longer next time. Annette and Geoff Hardaker
Jan.06 We had a wonderful time in Barbados and thought the studio apartment was excellent, the maid service was second to none and the view is to die for - we will definitely book with you again. Lackey Household
Aug.06 A big 'thank you' for making the arrangements that gave us a wonderful break at Ocean Blues. We found the apartment to be absolutely perfect for us and made good use of the facilities there. Marci of course was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Neil Morris
We've stayed in Ocean Blues 3 times now and Lynn always welcomes us with a beaming smile and a welcome Rum Punch.
Lynn, you're a gem !!
Excellent views from the upstairs studio.
Superb swimming across to Batts Rock from "our" own little sandy bay.
Love to all
Karen & Paul
This was our fifth stay at Ocean Blue and it never fails to enchant us. We have always stayed in the upper studio & it is lovely. The view is so perfect with the odd catamaran mooring up and the sunsets are incredible!
Lynn, the housekeeper, is great and we always look forward to catching up with her. We missed John & Janice (the lovely owners) this year but hopefully will catch up with them next year!
The social life in Barbados is great & the restaurants better - & Ocean Blue is the perfect place to base yourself!
We stayed in the upstairs studio which was perfect for us. It has a reasonably sized bedroom, bathroom with shower and galley kitchen. There is a good sized outdoor terrace with two sunbeds and table and chairs for dining where we spent most of our time. The retractable awning was very useful, as we could relax there when very hot or even when raining. There is also a gas barbeque and a communal outdoor space and pool for dipping.
The property felt very secure, and we were very well looked after by the housekeeper Lynn, who was very friendly and helpful.
The location is stunning, with lovely views over the bay. You can access the beach via a ten minute walk along the road, or swimming from the beach below the house. We saw turtles, rays and fish swimming close to the house, and local fishermen fishing each morning.
The house is located between Bridgetown and Holetown, and the bus stop is right outside.
We would not hesitate to recommend this property as a holiday rental.
Thank you !
Lovely stay in your lovely home.
Lynn is a gem !!!
Having returned from Barbados a few weeks ago, I find myself thinking of it every day with wonderful memories of a fantastic holiday, mainly due to having stayed at Ocean Blue, we discovered this lovely house about 3 years ago when we rented the large studio, within a couple of days of being there I had decided that it was the place I wanted to spend my 60th birthday, so this time we rented the whole house and invited our friends to join us, what a great decision, even with the house full to capacity there's enough space to be alone ( inside and out ) the house is kept immaculate by the house keeper Lynne, who manages to do her job so well its not until you go to your room you realise she's there at all, as for the house it's self, every room has views of the Caribbean, there is a lovely little private beach accessed down a spiral staircase, all the rooms are spacious and light, deciding which terrace to eat lunch on was the only drama, that's if you can be bothered to cook, if not the house is perfectly located for the many eateries and bars along the west coast, although I would advise a car driving is easy and other drivers are far more courteous than here, I could go on and on the list is endless but one of our favourite things was that you can flick a switch and light the sea at night for that midnight dip, all in all the perfect holiday, we shall definitely be going back, my advice go and find out for yourself you won't be disappointed
We stayed in the upstairs studio over Easter 20-27 April 2011 and had a perfect stay from first arrival to departure. The location of the house right by the ocean with direct access down to the sea (and even your own little beach) was very special. The views are incredible from the terrace looking out over the ocean - we even saw turtles swimming by from our terrace. Lynn, the housekeeper, was fantastic and really looked after us and kept the house spotless. We had a car which made getting around easy. We would recommend Folkestone Marine Park for snorkelling and a trip over to Bathsheba on the East coast. The Lone Star was our favourite restaurant, Daphne's our favourite bar for sunset cocktails and the Sandy Lane hotel for the buffet lunch. However, it was always a real pleasure to return to the house, to enjoy the views from the terrace of the house and to swim in the ocean direct from the house. Many thanks for a beautiful stay and especially many thanks to Lynn who really went out of her way to look after us and to maintain the house to a very high standard.
