Located south of 30-A in Seahaunts, a gated, family-friendly beachside community, guests have three points of direct beach access and can enjoy San Remo the heated pool and jacuzzi located 50 yards from the front door.
Perfect for a large family or even two, the Salty Dawg sleeps up to 8 people. The ground floor is perfect for children or a separate family, with an extra large bedroom containing two full beds, a full bath, and a separate sitting area/play room with a Microsoft X-box. On the main level you’ll find the kitchen, comfortable living room, a half bath, and balcony perfect for hanging out. The top level has a master with a king bed and a balcony offering spectacular views of the Gulf, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a full size bath.
This spacious unit has been recently renovated and is tastefully designed and decorated. Features include wireless high-speed internet, five TV's equipped with DVD players, full sized front loading washer and dryer, gas grill on a private back deck, and parking for two cars. Located south of 30-A in Santa Rosa Beach, you will be within a short walk of the 13-mile bike/walking path, Gulf Place restaurants and shops, and South Walton’s favorite seafood restaurant, Goatfeather’s.

We fell in love with the Sea Haunts townhome complex...the size of the unit, beachfront location and gulf views sold us immediately. The complex is gated and provides ample room for our children to safely ride their bikes and play outside while we watch from the balcony. This part of the gulf is never crowded...it's perfect for families to enjoy the beach!
The Salty Dawg is located on the south side of 30A in a beachfront townhome complex with three points of direct access to the beach. Local Catch, Goatfeathers and Gulf Place are each a short walk on the paved bike path that goes the length of 30A. Residents will enjoy a the best of both worlds... a quiet, serene community with only 32 units in the Sea Haunts complex, yet all the fun a larger complex would offer with free access to a pool and hot tub. When a break from the sun is needed, the Destin outlet stores are a 15 minute drive, as are several golf courses.
We LOVED the location of this immaculate townhouse. This was my third time, our children's second time and my husband's first time to this property. My husband doesn't love the beach like I do but he loved this vacation because of this townhouse and it's location. The Salty Dawg sold my husband on the idea of another beach vacation and I can't wait to return.
Where to start? Location! We love that the townhouse is inside a quiet, gated community. We love that it's perfect for bike riding for children because there is a flat, beautiful courtyard with no car traffic - they can keep riding around in large circles for as long as they want. We love that we have a large pool and hot tub just steps away from our front door. We love the proximity to the beach. It's close enough for small children to walk and for adults to quickly run up to the townhouse to get more snacks, drinks or anything else we might need or want. There are beautiful views from the master bedroom and it's balcony and the kitchen, family room and it's 2nd floor balcony. We love how safe it feels inside the gated community. Renters and owners leave their bikes, beach gear, etc. outside their townhouses's and by the walkway to the beach and feel safe leaving them out all day long. We love that there are great restaurants and shops in walking and bike riding distance. We love the location of the townhouse in proximity to 30A because it's at the start of 30A coming from 393 so you don't get stuck in the 30A traffic during busy season.
The Salty Dawg is large and spacious. It's clean, beautifully decorated and well maintained. The beds are comfortable and the bed and bath linens are high quality. Well stocked kitchen, updated furnishings, high end washer/dryer make this place feel like home at the beach. We will highly recommend this rental to all friends and family wanting a beach vacation. We can't wait to return!
This is our 5th time to this property and it remains as clean and inviting as ever! The owners take excellent care of their condo. The beds are comfortable, sheets clean and crisp, thick towels are provided, living room furniture is comfortable and kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. There is also plenty of room to comfortably sleep 8 people. The Sea Haunts is a gated community that is perfectly located a block down from 30A, 2 blocks from "downtown" Santa Rosa and right on the beach with its own access.
Very clean, well maintained, nicely decorated unit steps from the beach. Comfortable beds and sheets with a nice layout for a family. Beautiful views of the gulf from the balcony and master bedroom. The pool area is so large and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoy the laid back atmosphere of the Santa Rosa area - great restaurants minus the traffic jams of the Destin area. It was a nice family getaway and a quiet family oriented beach, can't wait to go back!
8B is clean and spacious! The kitchen is stocked so we could prepare all of our meals. I loved having my coffee on the porch with an ocean view! We have three kids and all 5 of us slept comfortably upstairs on the third level leaving the downstairs bedroom open for another family (or grandparents in our case to lock in a date night and some extra babysitting:) The Sea Haunts is a great little community! I love that it is gated so I feel safe letting my kids play in the beautiful courtyard. There is access to a pool and hot tub just next door. Very short walk to the beach for little legs, and close enough to come in for lunch or a break from the sun. We love this area because it's not too crowded, but there are plenty of shops and restaurants you can walk or bike to. Baytowne Wharf, Outlets, and Seaside are within a 20 minute drive too.
My wife, daughter and I stayed at this great home for a long weekend in the late Spring. There is so much room here, we really could have brought another couple or small family with us. The view from the balcony (especially the private master bedroom balcony) is spectacular. The perfect white sand beach is just steps away and there were not any crowds. Excellent restaurants within walking distance, do not miss Blue Mountain Creamery for some of the best ice cream you have ever tasted. Well stocked kitchen, updated furnishings, high end washer/dryer make this place feel like home at the beach. We will definitely return. Thank you!
The Salty Dawg allows for a complete get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The ocean view is amazing and the beach is just a short walk away (across the parking lot). The view can be seen from both of the furnished decks. One is off of the living room and one off of the master bedroom. The condo is beautifully furnished and decorated to make you feel at home. It also comes with a beyond fully equipped kitchen. The layout of the condo allows you to have space when traveling with a large group. There is a bedroom downstairs with it's own sitting room. The main floor has a spacious kitchen and living area, and the other two bedrooms are upstairs.
The beach itself is breathtaking. From the beautiful white sands, crystal blue water and secluded environment, the experience can not be beat. The Salty Dawg provides amazing accommodations that allow you to experience one of nature's best kept secrets, Santa Rosa Beach.
Walk or ride the bike path to Stinky's Fish Camp, Local Catch, Goatfeathers Market & Gulf Place Shops & Restaurants.
