The front porch of this big bear cabin includes two wood rocking chairs, a great spot to relax and enjoy the serene neighborhood.
Enter Highland House to find an entry way with wood floors, coat hooks, and a vintage wood-burning stove. A welcome pillow is sitting on a nearby chair to greet you to the home.
This is a two story, reverse floor plan home. On the entry level, you'll find three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and wood ceilings. Entertainment is at hand with a flat-screen television and HDTV cable. The en suite master bathroom includes a soaking tub, stone walk-in shower, and double sinks.
The second bedroom has both a queen and twin bed. The storage is plentiful, with an alcove to keep your belongings tidy. A window provides views of the side yard.
The third bedroom includes two full beds and a window with views of the side yard.
The entry level has a bathroom in the hall to share between the second and third bedrooms. This is a full-size bathroom with double sinks.
Next to the bathroom, you'll find a door that leads you to the back yard. The back yard is fully-fenced and has a pretty garden with a windmill. A flat-area provides a safe place for children to play. The yard has a wood deck with an outdoor table and four chairs. The hot tub is the perfect spot to soothe sore muscles, after a day spent on the slopes or hiking trails.
Head upstairs to find a balcony with views of the back yard. This balcony includes a large outdoor dining area with seating for seven. A canopy over the dining table will provide shade from the sun. Grill a chicken or a juicy steak on the propane BBQ, and enjoy dining al fresco in the fresh mountain air.
Just inside of the balcony, you'll find a half-bathroom for the upstairs level.
The kitchen includes all the tools that you'll need to whip up a home cooked meal.The kitchen has granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and a ceiling fan. As you cook, you'll be able to admire the views of the backyard through the window and glass slider, both of which fill the room with natural light. Other features of the kitchen include a gas oven, microwave, coffee pot, trash compactor, kitchen island, and dishwasher.
Serve your meal at the dining table that is located adjacent to the kitchen. The table seats eight and includes a ceiling fan to keep you cool during the warm summer months. Open up the curtains to enjoy a view of the front of the house as you dine.
In the living room you'll find multiple sitting areas, some close to the television and others in a quieter spot, for guests who might want to read a book or play board games. The flat-screen television includes HDTV cable. Although you're up in the mountains, it's easy to stay connected with wifi access. On a chilly night, you'll love the wood-burning fireplace. The antler chandelier above the living room gives the cabin a touch of nature.
The futon in the living area provides an additional sleeping option.

Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.
Head inside at 10:00 p.m.
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.
Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned. Important: Dear Traveler, you will be charged with USD 200 in case you include a Pet in your reservation as a Refundable Damage Deposit for Pets.
