We loved the house and location as our whole family stayed, from out of state, for our daughters wedding in Longmont. It felt like home to us....and we even were able to host the bridesmaids brunch there and all felt as if we were at home! Matt was great to work with, very accommodating, and gracious homeowner who welcomed us in his home.

We came into town for a national softball tournament. Three families got to stay in that house. It was fantastic. Great big backyard, awesome amenities, and Matt did a good job of communicating with us.
Wedding for son in Longmont, CO
Matt was wonderful to work with and the house worked out so well for my family attending our son's Wedding. The location is perfect for Longmont area and the amenities nearby.
Family get together
The property was a good fit for our family of 12, as we were coming from 5 states. The location was good for our activities in Longmont, Lyons and Estes Park. The cameras all over the inside of the house were uncomfortable and the sheets were not clean on a couple of beds. One had stains and the other had candy wrappers in the sheets. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Snow mencement Graduation
Our family gathered from across the miles PA-CA to celebrate a graduation from CU Boulder, the Longmont location and home was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room for everyone to have a bed and all generations enjoyed the many fun amenities. Unfortunately we were not able to take advantage of the wonderful deck and hot tub due to the weather. The house was clean and the owners made room for us in the kitchen and all rooms. It is a a great home for a large gathering. FYI do be aware of on street parking signs.

I know this home has positive reviews in the past and perhaps some things have changed since then, but our stay was very disappointing. First, the house has security cameras in the house, one on each level. This is against VRBO policy and should be removed. We had kids in the house and did not feel that was necessary. Next, the house was not cleaned prior to arrival. The floors were dirty with dirt and dog hair, dog snot was on the back door, fridge shelves were dirty and stained carpet throughout. The upstairs bedroom smelled like dog pee. The owner had all the windows open when we arrived so that was a nice middle of the night surprise when the room smelled horrible.
The worst was the dirty sheets. One bed in particular in the basement was horrific, I'll spare the details, but wow! We had to rearrange and move people around to avoid that room all together. The beds that were clearly guest room beds smelled musty and some pillowcases had drool marks. The towels smelled like mildew, like they sat in the washer too long. The laundry room had the owners dirty clothes in it. I tried to find a pan to bake something with and most of the pans were rusted. I has to just wrap in foil. In addition, food had dripped down along a cabinet and piled in the bottom. The cabinets were cluttered and unorganized. There wasn't dish soap to be found and the bathroom lacked a hand towel.
The entire house was cluttered. It is clear that the owner and family live here full time and must leave to someone's house when rented so it is full of personal items. If this is the case, a cleaning service should be called in prior to the guests arrival, including making sure fresh sheets are on each bed. Also, I suggest the owner have a friend come in who can help organize the kitchen and get rid of the junk and invest in new pieces of kitchen basics. And it's time for professional carpet cleaner.
Unfortunately we just had to deal with all of this for the two nights as we were in town for a competition. With arriving late on Friday and having a busy Saturday, were were stuck. Hopefully the owner can get the cleaning and organizing under control, because the house itself is nice and roomy and the neighborhood is nice and close to everything.
I am very sorry for your poor experience with this rental. I have changed the cleaning crew and will ensure all of the cleaning issues you mentioned below are fixed. The cameras that monitor the doors have also been removed. I have asked for a refund of the cleaning fee, as well as, a partial refund for you stay. Again, I am very sorry this stay was less than perfect for you and hope you will allow us to make the necessary changes to make sure this doesn't happen again. Thanks for your feedback.
