Absolutely loved our stay. We had a beautiful two-bedroom unit right next to the pool. The master bedroom had a gigantic tub that could fit at least four people! The sheets were clean, the unit was clean and everything was quiet. Beautiful unit and lovely place!
I did like the layout of the unit however, the owner was RUDE and ARROGANT!
So on my day of arrival, I texted Steve. He texted me back and told me to meet him at International Drive in Orlando. I was quite upset as I was not going to take an UBER there and then travel back to the villa! He never disclosed this info to me in any of our conversations. I told him I was not doing that as he never told me this previously. He then said Jesus Christ! and hung up on me! I called back and he didn't answer, then I texted him and said, "You swear at me, hang up on me and now you don't answer my text?" Then he called me and told me I had to pay a resort fee to him as Westgate did not collect that, so I paid it. Ten he said I'll get a representative on the line from Westgate because you think I'm scamming you! I NEVER said I thought he was scamming me! So finally he says just go to Westgate and check in there. So I do, then they tell me I have to pay another tax so I did. I found Steve to be EXTREMELY ignorant and rude and I will NEVER rent from him again. He mentioned that he had about 15 check in's that day but that was not my problem it was his. Never again will I rent from such a rude man. Home Away should be appauled at the way he treated me as a customer. Terry G.
The room was clean, check in/out was a breeze. Not a fan of the time share presentation, sales personnel are very disrespectful and use unethical sales tactics. Highly recommend staying in this place but stay as far away as possible to the time share presentation trap.
Home away from home
I enjoyed every minute of the stay however I was sent to the Kissimmee location as requested only to be told my reservation was for the Orlando location which was around the corner from where I picked up my voucher. This was all forgiven once I checked in. The spa was great... highly recommended.
Very Bad Customer Service for Guests of Resort
When you check in for your room you must wait in a line behind all resort owners. For every 8 owners they check in one guest. I stayed in line hour waiting to get served. The resort should disclose this before you book you reservation.
Need to hire more experienced person for reception deck..
Check in process was messed up by trainee at the reception desk.. had to back and forth between regular check in and vip (promo) check in for hour and helf.. errr.. Except that resort itself was enjoyable..
