We have many places to provide for your activities on site.

We speak Portuguese, French, Spanish, Italian and English.

The beaches are beautiful. You will dine deliciously in the village or can enjoy the area if you have a rental car.

A shuttle is available from Faro airport.

We do not rent for stays shorter than 3 nights.

Amazing property that allows exploration of Eastern Algarve

My wife and I were privileged to have the opportunity to stay 16 nights in this amazing property in late March to 9 April 2018 in the small authentic 1500 person fishing village Santa Luzia some 3km west of 25,000 person Tavira Portugal. Our stay was part of a 6 week self planned road cycling holiday in Andalucia Spain and Eastern Algarve Portugal to escape from our harsh Canadian winter.

Over a 20 year period my wife and I have been able to stay in over 130 Western European properties in 9 European countries to fuel our passion for Euro road cycling. Few North Americans would bring this depth of perspective with regards to accommodation to this review.

Our Santa Luzia apartment would represent then top ten percent of any European property we have ever stayed in over the last 20 years. It is bright, new, modern, spacious and has a rich amenity level and wonderful ambience. It is rare in a European property that all of those qualities come together in one property. You might get one or two of these qualities but not all of them. Often heating and cooling are huge issues in Portuguese or Spanish properties. Modern effective inverter heaters-airconditioners feature in this gorgeous offering. Bedding is top quality and reflects a lot of thought and care....often an afterthought in Euro properties.

The property is professionally presented and maintained..... not a "managed property" in a company portfolio of hundreds where the management agency does not care. Our host Jorge was astounding........ responsive, attentive, sensitive and superbly communicative....almost concierge standards with due consideration for privacy.

The property is very strategically located out of the touristy hub-bub of Tavira and yet very close by so the delightful streets of Tavira Old Town can be explored on foot. Barril beach is minutes away on foot.... a superb opportunity to explore the extensive Ria Formosa Natural Park up close. Faro and the remarkable Palacio de Estoi are easy day trips from this property. As well the superb beaches and infrastructure of La Antilla in Huelva province Spain are a short 40 minute drive away eastward.

No short cuts have been taken in the planning, branding, amenity level, standards, or hosting of this property. It is a true gem and offers an amazing base for Eastern Algarve and Western Andalucia exploration Your search is over......book it now!

Well presented and all facilities in place. Except.

Clean and comfortable vacation rental

My wife and I spent almost seven weeks at this vacation rental in Santa Luzia. This is a clean, spacious, bright, very well equipped, warm and comfortable apartment, located approximately five minutes walk from the riverfront of the beautiful Village of Santa Luzia. There are many restaurants along the riverfront. There is a local grocery store just around the corner.

The owners, and the property manager are very responsive to the guests’ needs. We had quick responses to our emails. Santa Luzia is a safe, and lovely location for a vacation in the Eastern Algarve, and this location is very convenient to the beaches, and the City of Tavira.

We highly recommend this apartment for couples, and families.

Happiest place on earth!

This condo has everything and happens to be in the best village ever! If you want to have a vacation to relax at the beach, swim in the pool and eat excellent fish, this is for you. The concession at Terra Estreida is beyond expectations. Everything is exactly as stated in the description of the property. Excellent all around, just can't say enough about this location.

Lovely Spacious Aprtment

We stayed for 5 weeks, from the end of February to the beginning of April.. We had previously rented 7 other apartments in Santa Luzia previously and this was the largest and the best equipped of them all. The outside swimming pool wasn't available at this time of the year but the inside heated pool was, though we didn't use it. There was a very good satellite TV, American films and old BBC programmes, French and German. With Portuguese sub titles. The bedrooms were both spacious, comfortable beds, 2 large bathrooms, Lovely bedding and towels. Vincent was very helpful as were the managers who live a couple of doors away. Santa Luzia is a beautiful place, The Ria Formosa changes daily as it is tidal and has a host of bird life, there are many excellent restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The only negative was that the apartment and veranda didn't get much sun but maybe that is a positive in the summer months when it is very hot! A big thank you to everyone.
