About the property

OUR CHALET FAMILY WILL OFFER AUTHENTICITY, PEACE AND COMFORT

Fully wooden construction, our family cottage puts guests comfortably. Savoyard furniture and equipment are designed to accommodate our large family and therefore nothing should you default. It easily accommodates ten people.

A very open ground floor which allows to move from the kitchen to the dining room and the living room to take advantage of the desired ease on vacation, the chimney is an important part of the friendly atmosphere we have created. In the kitchen, everything is possible, the pans are many great! Fondue, raclette, hot stone, pancakes, french fries or small dishes, our cottage is a great practical and regular meetings of family or friends.

From the kitchen or from the dining room, you have access to the balcony and terrace that offers sun from morning to night (exposure east and south). The view is facing the Etale massif, one of four massive La Clusaz and the terrace overlooks a set of very tall pines overlooking a pretty stream. The view is beautiful and the surroundings allow children to play safely. A beautiful wooden deck now welcomes you!

If you want to isolate yourself from the living room and conversations in sofas, a TV lounge away offers more privacy and silence.

On the garden is the privileged domain of 'young', sound insulation is perfect. Two bedrooms each with two single beds are complemented by a games room that can make an additional bedroom and allow to accommodate six people at this level.

There is a bathroom / toilets on each floor garden flat has a bathroom with bath and toilet. An exit from the garden can be useful especially if you have major teens returning late !! This is our private ski local and also can store your skis if you prefer to avoid the main entrance.

On the first floor which is accessed by a wooden staircase in the cathedral living room, the hallway distributes three large bedrooms each with full-sized beds (160/200 and 200/200). one of which separates the sleeping twins. Another further comprises a crib of 150 cm.

The garage allows most often Skis (rack), shoes or sports equipment all you want but it will accommodate your car also. Private parking permits to park three additional vehicles.

The positioning of the cottage 1.8 km from the center provides a quiet and a remarkable panorama but therefore the races are to drive. However our grown children have always visited the cinema or other foot outlets.

Access to the slopes is possible down to 300 m to a green track or uphill 500 m to 2 massive choice. This access is more appropriate for athletes and those who want to save time, indeed you are on top of a massive rise in only 1.

If you have very young children, the car will be essential.

Excellent sejour

Tres beau chalet ,bien situé,bien entretenu,

ensoleillé,où tout est prévu pour accueillir une grande famille.Tout est conforme au descriptif.La décoration est chaleureuse,la literie de bonne qualité et confortable.Les chambres sur 2 niveaux sont une excellente idée quand on a plusieurs jeunes enfants. On a également apprécié la cheminée (avec bois à disposition )et le salon télé salle de jeux séparé .

Mme Teyssaire a toujours été à l'écoute et nous la remercions pour son accueil et ses gentilles attentions à notre arrivée.

Nous avons hâte de séjourner à nouveau dans le chalet.

Très agréable séjour à La Clusaz

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce très beau chalet tout à fait conforme à nos attentes. Le chalet est bien situé dans un endroit très calme idéal pour de belles promenades avec les enfants. La propriétaire est très sympa et à l'écoute. Nous recommandons ce chalet à tous pour des superbes vacances en famille.

Idéalement situé !

Charmante propriétaire qui nous a permis de profiter de 5 journées de repos dans ce magnifique chalet.

Si le soleil n'était pas tous les jours au rendez-vous, le confort des lits, la cheminée et le matériel de cuisine très complet pour organiser des dîners entre amis nous ont permis d'apprécier ce séjour.

Le chalet est au calme, à quelques minutes en voiture du centre de La Clusaz et il bénéficie d'une vue dégagée sur les montagnes.

Nous recommandons !

Would not recommend

We stayed at this chalet from 14 Feb 2015 for the school half-term week. We have been skiing with the same friends in the Alps for 10 years and have never had an issue with accommodation or felt the need to write a bad review. However there is always a first time. Firstly beware accommodation is not conducive to families; three bedrooms are downstairs in the basement, whilst the other three are two floors up. The chairs in the dining room were old and broken, that's if you could get a chair some of our party had to sit on stools. On the second day there my Partner had to unblock the build up of debris from the plug hole in the shower room before the tray overflowed and caused disaster. For most of us these days wifi is crucial esp. if you are busy Executive who has to touch base with the office, however we were informed halfway through our holiday this was limited, not sure where this was mentioned in any contract. The ski bus is not walkable with kids and ski equipment so you will need a car. To top it all the owner is unhelpful and discourteous, and although some of us were there when the chalet was checked by Jerome (the Caretaker) and everything said to be ok, and having paid extra to have it cleaned, we didn’t receive our full deposit back, and guess what our emails are not being answered. Definitely not somewhere I will be staying again or recommending.

Owner's Response: Sur les sites de locations en ligne, nous sommes, nous les propriétaires, à la merci de gens malveillants qui ont toutes les libertés et de surcroît sous couvert d’anonymat ! Concernant les équipements critiqués, il s’agit d’un tissu de mensonges : la plaque vitrocéramique a été changée en 2012 et les chaises ne sont ni vieilles ni cassées ! La description détaillée de la distribution des pièces et chambres est à la disposition des vacanciers sur le site, ainsi que les distances à pieds des pistes et du centre du village. Enfin, il suffit de lire les autres appréciations pour constater l’incohérence totale des plaignants. Puisqu’il faut se défendre à présent, je précise que Mr B. et Mr J. et leur famille se sont bien gardés d’avouer dans leur commentaire qu’ils ont cassé un écran de 42 pouces d’une télévision neuve, en envoyant selon leur déclaration la télécommande sur l’écran !!?? Ou serait-ce plutôt une bûche de bois destinée à la cheminée puisque selon mes voisins affolés, ces locataires « les rentraient en les lançant par la fenêtre du salon TV »... ? « les enfants aussi rentraient par les fenêtres » ! (je tiens à disposition la facture de la télé cassée ainsi que celle rachetée la semaine suivante pour remplacement, une photo datée de l’écran cassé et le justificatif de mon virement bancaire fait à Mr B. le 19 mars correspondant au solde de la caution) Je précise aussi que bizarrement un soir de la semaine, Mr B. ou Mr J. m’a harcelé par plusieurs messages SMS pour récupérer leur caution avant leur départ sans m’informer de l’accident sur la télévision. C’est mon intendant sur place qui m’en a informée le lendemain, m’évitant ainsi une dérobade préméditée !! J’ai de plus retrouvé le chalet dans un état de saleté et de désordre que nous n’avions jamais connu. Mise à part cette mauvaise expérience, je garde malgré tout un très bon souvenir de cet hiver : des locataires formidables qui ont pour certains l’intention de revenir l’an prochain. Je les accueillerai avec bonheur cherchant toujours à améliorer les équipements pour satisfaire leur confort, tels que la nouvelle terrasse en bois que nous venons de réaliser.
