We have a family getaway in the Berkshires that we also rent. Set on 2 acres in the Stockbridge hamlet of Glendale, the house is conveniently located - just a short walk to the Norman Rockwell Museum, Chesterwood House and Botanical Gardens. The sunny 1st floor features a living room with fireplace open to the well-equipped kitchen, the dining room, a den with daybed, and the master suite with dressing area and bath. The 2nd floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom. All rooms have hardwood floors (many contain the original floors) except the bathroom floors which are tiled. We updated both bathrooms with a 'vintage modern' aesthetic and furnished the rooms with a mix of antiques and contemporary pieces.

About Michelle Teillon
I grew up visiting my grandparents in Williamstown, and loved the natural beauty of the area. As an adult, I appreciate the range of things to do across the seasons - performing arts, museums, historical house tours and outdoor activities like hiking, biking, skiing and swimming. I live in Boston, and enjoy traveling.
Why Michelle Teillon chose Stockbridge
This was the first house that my realtor showed me, and I fell in love - great light, wonderful bones and a lovely yard. It will sound corny but it felt like a happy house, and it still does!
Like being at home but more charming
Full of comfortable furniture and amenities to make you feel at home - - if your home had an historic farmhouse charm and was nestled against the woods. If you want to get away to the Berkshires, get away here.
Wonderful Berkshires House
We really enjoyed our stay in Michelle’s home. It has everything you need, including a well-stocked kitchen with a blender, Cuisinart, aprons, and lots of spices, a great dining room table for eating and playing games, and a comfortable living room for reading and hanging out. There were also folding chairs for the outdoors, a great yard, and a garage to store our bikes. The house was super clean and is close to Jacob’s Pillow, Tanglewood, great swimming, museums, canoeing, and hiking trails. Michelle gave many suggestions for activities and places to eat and shop. We highly recommend this home for a stay in the beautiful Berkshires.
Another Wonderful Stay
This was our third stay in as many years and once again we could not have been more pleased with our choice! The home is beautifully appointed with everything that's needed in a home away from home. It is also close to the major attractions and was conveniently located to the event we were attending. I'm sure we'll be returning again in the future.
A perfect place to reune
We four high school friends (two from either end of North Carolina, one from Maui, and one from Lenox) could not have been more comfortable, sitting around the country dining room table, sharing meals, memories and much laughter.
We has a wonderful weekend in the Berkshires!
Spacious, homey, very comfortable! Convenient location with all the amenities needed. Great girls weekend!
Perfect house for our winter family getaway!
Booked this house on relatively short notice for our week long winter family vacation and couldn’t be happier! House was very well appointed and the beds super comfy. Love the farmhouse decor. Backyard was great. Location is central to all the Berkshires has to offer. Minutes to family friendly Butternut ski area. My two older kids, ages 9 and 6, both first time skiers are now hooked...I couldn’t get them off the slopes.
Michelle was very responsive and helpful. The provided orientation booklet is very comprehensive.
Thanks for a great week!
