The Legacy is a classic summer cottage that’s just steps away from Fox Point beach. This much treasured family home is a place of stories and traditions that has been lovingly and thoughtfully renovated to offer a warm welcome and be shared with vacationers looking for a comfortable, charming retreat.

The cottage has three bedrooms – two double and one single – as well as a pull down Murphy bed, sleeping 7 comfortably. Two full bathrooms. Family room, dining area, cosy seating nook, fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities.

Outside there’s a deck equipped with furniture and barbecue. Good size private garden surrounded by trees, with fire pit and outdoor shower. Fox Point beach is reached by a very short walk from the end of the garden and across the road.

Great vacation

This was our second stay at Legacy and both times have been terrific! Everything we needed to enjoy our week. The grandchildren loved playing in the yard and frequent trips to the beach. Great spot for families or couples! Sad to say we will have outgrown this cottage by next vacation, or we would happily return! Mary Jo S and family

Hubbards visit

Had a great time. House was a perfect place for us. Nice yard could walk to beach and did several times a day. Was secluded and private. Had everything you needed. Would love to stay again. Was close to everything we wanted to visit. Peggy's cove Halifax winery in Lunenburg. Highly recommend to stay here Thank you

You are walking distance (one minute) to Fox Point Beach. There are additional sandy beaches nearby, including Bayswater and Queensland, as well as sightseeing attractions including the historic seaside village of Chester, the quaint small town of Mahone Bay, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lunenburg and the picturesque Peggy’s Cove.

The area is excellent for outdoor recreational activities including sailing, fishing, kayaking and canoeing, trail walking and cycling, as well as for coastal exploring, Farmers’ Markets, art and craft galleries, antiques shopping and sightseeing.
