House Mariner has a spectacular location in the village of Kalami at Souda Bay, near Chania, in the northwest of Crete. The house is simple but comfortable and situated on a large plot of land. The house has a lovely terrace with views across Souda Bay on one side and the Samaria Gorge on the other side towards the mountains. Moreover, there are spot many flowers and even fruit trees where you can reap the rewards. This is truly a great place to unwind, read a book, painting, fishing or write. In the picture from the sea, the home is the most right house at the intersection of the road. The cottage is located a few steps from a pebble beach. Also enjoy beautiful walks in the area in the many existing gaps, including the famous Samaria Gorge. Nearby you will find lovely villages where you can eat delicious fresh fish, such as Kalives and Almyrida. The cultural city of Chania is very nearby. The young affectionate owners come from the surrounding mountain area and can recommend s withwalks and other attractions.

House will be renovated winter 2016, kitchen, bathroom, beds, paving outside, etc.

Ligging van de accommodatie direct aan zee. Mooi en ruim balkon met een prachtig uitzicht. Ruime vertrekken. Alle noodzakelijke voorzieningen aanwezig. Met de auto zeer goed bereikbaar. Maar ook voor sportievelingen heel goed te doen.

Dieses Haus besticht durch seine Lage direkt am Meer, sehr ruhig und wunderbar zur Erholung. Es gibt kein TV und keinen Tiefkühlschrank (im Gegensatz zur Beschreibung), es ist mehr eine Wohnung, da unten im Haus in abgeschlossener Wohnung die Eltern der Vermieter wohnen, dies stört aber in keiner Weise. Die Schlafzimmer sind offen und nicht abtrennbar, daher eher nicht für zwei befreundete Paare und nur sehr bedingt für Eltern mit Kind geeignet, für 2 Personen aber prima. Die Ausstattung ist sehr mager, alles etwas alt...aber wie gesagt, die Lage ist absolut top! Vermieter sehr freundlich und unkompliziert!!! Für Hunde bedingt geeignet, da dort einige freilaufende Hunde ihr Revier markieren und das Grundstück trotz teilweiser Einzäunung nicht zu schließen ist.

Dear Nikos and Maria,

Thank you very much for your hospitality! We enjoyed our holiday very much. Mariner is a very pleasant house to stay in. Please thank your mother for cleaning the house and giving us clean sheets and towels twice a week. We also much appreciated the fresh oranges and bread. The view from the terrace is overwhelming. We have seen the ferry to Piraeus and many ships from the Greek Navy including a submarine. The walk through the Samaria gorge including the bus rides and boat trip was our number one. We also enjoyed our visiting Aptera, Chania, Rithimno and Pollirinia very much. And, for dining out, the warm welcome by Anthony, Maria and Anthony's parents in their restaurant Intzedin, was unforgettable!
