Villa Coral is situated in Varandas do Lago just a 2 minute drive between the resorts of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo and Garrão beach.

It has a sense of grandeur on entering the property while making you feel right at home.

The outside terrace with BBQ seating and pool offers families a very secure and relaxing place to enjoy that much needed downtime with our family.

Over the years it has prove to be very popular with our returning guests.

The kitchen is large and light with an island table for informal breakfasts. There is a separate laundry room.

All bedroom are spacious and offer air conditioning, double glazing, aluminium shutters and mosquito nets. Central heating. Alarm system.

Beautiful villa indoors & out in convenient spot.

We are very familiar with the area and this is a good location for easy access to beaches and local shops and restaurants, although a car is needed. The villa was expensive but very nice inside and out. Plenty of outdoor seating and good size pool and lawned area. Bedrooms and en-suites are very good - good selection of UK TV channels.

I am JCM - my review from last year was not on this Villa. I know nothing of Villa Rosemary - never visited this one. Mine was of Villa Nancy, now seemingly known as Villa Coral.

Well Equipped Villa in Beautiful Grounds

As previously stated, it lived up to the photos. Very well equipped kitchen, unlike other villas we have rented previously, I didn't need to go out and buy Tupperware storage and the like! We were able to get early arrival as no-one had been in the week before. This, unfortunately, had its drawbacks. The pool filtration and the outside light timers were all to pot, also over half the outside lamps had blown. The hot water boiler had been off, and was not at its' proper temperature, resulting in the hot water running out completely after three consecutive showers!

We were also informed that a safe would be available for our use - not so. Also, description states there is a garage, sadly not for us, neither was the drive, which would have been very useful for parking.

All of that said, Julie Lake put up with our endless phone calls and by the end of the weekend, all was in order, plus a safe had been installed. Alex, the Maintenance Operative was fantastic and sorted everything out for us quickly and efficiently. We must also say that when we lost Internet connection, Julie had the Internet guy to the villa within the hour - that would never happen in the UK!

The villa was spotlessly clean when we arrived and Anna, our Maid, was super efficient and never complained about our music! Washer and Dryer brand new I think and superb quality (I have the same at home!)

Great location, great layout. The south facing pool was fantastic - constant sun all day up to the sun going down. So relaxing. With the exception of Bedroom 2, the air-conditioning worked well throughout.

Overall a high quality property. With a little more attention to details prior to arrival, we would have had no hesitation in giving 5 stars.

Would highly recommend to anyone. As to Restaurants, we have our favourites, being frequent visitors to this area. Personally, we were delighted to reacquaint ourselves with Casa Velha, which did not fail to impress, but there is something for all tastes and pockets within a short distance of the Villa.

Finances permitting we shall be back next year!
