Alfama, one of the oldest quarters of Lisbon, with its medieval layout is not only excellent situated (10 minutes walking from the Baixa and Barrio Alto,
5 minutes from the St. George's Castel) but it is also the quarter where one can more closely experience traditional Lisbon life. Its narrow, curving streets with unexpected corners and small charming plazas, offers small shops, cafes and restaurants, make this a perfect place for a Lisbon experience!
The apartment (first floor) is located on the upper part of Alfama, near Largo de S.Salvador, 200 metres from Miradouro (a place from where you can enjoy spectacular views), S.Luzia, and the well known tram 28. The taxi stops just 30 metres from the apartment so it is ease reachable from anywhere. The apartment (60 m2), has good light, a small old style balcony, accessible from the living room, which receives sun part of the day and overlooks a typical Alfama street. From the sleeping rooms
it also has very good views of the river Tejo and the roofs of Alfama. It has 2 sleeping rooms each with a double bed, so the apartment can also be rented just for 4 people at a special price. It has a very nice ambiance and is decorated with taste. TV, CD and DVD players are provided, the kitchen is fully equipped and there is a washing machine.
The situation with regard to traffic and parking differs from one town to the other. It might occur that only paid parking possibilities are available in the holiday home's surroundings
