Perfect stay in French countryside

  • 5 of 5

The Gîte is well equipped and in a quiet village setting. A car is a necessity. Epernay is a must and the village is situated amongst the vines, perfect dog walking from the house. The garden is huge and completely enclosed and safe. It was clean and tidy.

There are so many local champagne producers in the area, don’t buy from a big name or the supermarket. The locals are friendly and helpful. Our host Jean-Michel was a complete star. So helpful from booking to the end of our holiday. Very responsive to messages and full of advice. I cannot speak highly enough of him. If you want a break in the heart of Champagne growing country then don’t hesitate to book. We will be returning next year. Merci Jean-Michel et Mango x

Oasis of calm in the champagne countryside

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay here in the quiet champagne countryside. It was perfect for travelling with our dog, due to the large enclosed garden. We will definitely be back!

A brilliant Gite. Really comfortable and the owner is lovely and helpful.

It has everything you could possibly need for cooking and families from travel cots to changing mats and even potties and kids toilet seats and steps.

Log fire was great as is the large dog friendly garden. Lots of space for kids to play and even a covered table tennis area.

Thanks again.

Fantastic. We will be back.

A gem in the Champagne countryside

  • 5 of 5

This was truly a wonderful find, a gem in the Champagne countryside. It had all the amenities that we needed and we made full use of the Raclette grill. The cottage was ideal for people like us who had dogs as the garden was large and secure. There are a number of champagne houses close by and I to admit they are better than the big champagne brands you find in the supermarkets (plus a lot cheaper). Jean-Michel was a perfect owner, even though he was on holiday he still kept in touch with us. We are already thinking if we should go back next year.

Super house in lovely position. Great for walking. We went with 2 young children and 2 dogs. The garden is fully fenced making it very safe. We had a great time.

Wonderful Rustic Gite

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 labs for a few days after the new year. The house was wonderfully rustic, with all amenities catered for so we felt extremely comfortable and at ease. Whilst the weather was a little on the cold side so unable to make full use of the garden, it was still large enough for us to allow the dogs to have a good run around safe in the knowledge that it was nice and secure. There is plenty of information available in the gite on things to do during our stay so at no point were we twiddling our thumbs wondering what to do or where to visit. A special mention needs to go to our host, Jean-Michel, who is a really pleasant chap and incredibly helpful. Not only did he arrange for us to visit the local vets to allow us to re-enter the UK with Pet Passport completed, but when we arrived fairly late on he also recommended a Champagne house just 15 minutes drive away which were still open so that we could enjoy a lovely bottle that evening. On the whole, 5 out of 5 and would definitely recommend it.
