Nice house Andalusian style, with garden and private pool, on plot of 2. 000 m2, for up to 8 -12 people, located on the outskirts of Alhaurin el Grande. The house has a large living room, kitchen, four double bedrooms, one with double bed and sofa bed, one with double bed and two with two three single beds, two bathrooms, and a large porch. The house is fully air conditioned, has a fireplace, LCD TV, Sky satellite, utensils, etc.

Gorgeous, well maintained and clean, with everything you need, plus fresh eggs!!

We arrived after meeting a very patient Rafi, we were late, he was charming. We followed him along a rural road to our villa. It is as beautiful as the picture. The hens came running to greet us too! The villa is well stocked with all kitchen equipment you'll need, kids toys for the pool, lots of towels and just those little extras that you'll need, but forget. The first day we just lay around and baked by the pool, while the kids splashed about. After that, the villa is the perfect base to explore. Not too far from Malaga, we also went to Marbella, fuengirola and nerja.

Would recommend kayaking from Burriana beach if you get the chance, that was magical. You will need a car, no doubt about it, but the villa, though remote is close to all local amenities. We recommend the mercadona for groceries. Although everything was closed on the Sunday when we arrived, so might be worth stocking up before you arrive if you do come on a Sunday. ... we spent a small fortune in the local garage for Sunday supplies( beer and wine and pizza) for first day celebrations.

Anyway, lucky you if you book this villa, we were very sad to leave. .. oh and forgot to thank Rafi, for the basket of fruit and honey he left. A very kind gesture.

This place is brilliant !! The Villa is well kept and has everything needed.

We met the owner, Rafa, at a Large-ish shopping centre about 10 mins drive from the Villa. Without him it would be very difficult to find, once off the main road it’s a few minutes on a dust track.

There are a few other Villas around but none so close as to feel you have neighbours and its certainly enough distance to feel very private and at night it feels safely isolated.

The views are of the surrounding hills and distant towns are lovely and the setting is stunning.

The entrance drive to the Villa is closed off by a huge electronic gate and the entire property is fenced off with mature foliage creating a safe and secure environment for the youngsters to run around but not get out.

We were a party of two adults and 5 kids (one a 15 yr old) and the house was a perfect size – to be honest the pictures on the web site don’t do it justice – its bigger and even nicer than on the website!

The pool area is great and the outhouse toilet a bonus as it kept the kids out of the main Villa during swimming time. and the BBQ is absolutely perfect.

There was the treat of collecting eggs in the morning too. Rafa, the owner has built a small Chicken Coop at the side of the double garage and so we help ourselves to the eggs on most days or he would pick them up whenever he came over. The chickens were a constant source of amusement to the kids – I do hope they aren’t too traumatised!

Rafa is a great host . He is very accommodating and always just a text message away. His English is as good as my Spanish so our chats were always interesting given we don’t speak each other’s language. – Google translate is far from perfect but it certainly enabled us to sort out any issues.

He brought us over a cooler box when we needed it. Once a week he came over with fresh Tomatoes, Pimentos and Mellon from his Finca, a very welcome nice touch.

So I think its easier to now do a quick pros and cons list.

Pros. Fabulous Viila. Great location – i wouldn’t say its rural but it absolutely not Urban. Loads of Olive groves and a dirt roads.

Safe, peaceful and very hot. But the air con is fab.

The pool is lovely and Rafa maintains this as well as the surrounding garden. The local town, Coin is very close 5 mins drive will find you at a well-stocked Mercadona and for the less adventurous either side of this is and Aldi and a Lidl.

The beach is around 35mins away with Marbella and San Pedro de Alcantra 45 mins .

Cons. None

We will definitely be returning !

Fantastisch huis op een fantastisch plekje!

We hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf van 10 dagen. We waren er, als gezin met 5 kinderen in de leeftijd van 15 tot 25 jaar, van 29 april tot 9 mei. De laatste dagen was het weer niet meer zo mooi, maar we hebben ondanks dat een heerlijke vakantie gehad. De locatie is daar zeker een belangrijk onderdeel van geweest. Het ligt erg vrij en heeft een mooi uitzicht. De tuin is prachtig aangelegd. Het zwembad is niet zo groot, maar groot genoeg voor een lekkere duik als het mooi weer is.

De eigenaar is erg aardig en waarschijnlijk bijzonder behulpzaam, alleen spreekt hij geen Engels (en wij geen Spaans😉). We hadden een keer problemen met het water, maar dan is hij er na een telefoontje binnen een kwartier om het probleem op te lossen.

Kortom, beslist een aanrader!!

Great Accommodation and Customer Service

We hadn't stayed in this area before and we stayed for 2 weeks. Juan the Manager of the property provided great insight and was very helpful and answered all my queries by email before we arrived.

Perfect area and only 30 minutes from the Costas if you can tear yourself away from this idyllic property.

The house, pool and gardens were clean and well maintained and Rafael the owner who came round to check the pool was very friendly and helpful. We spoke to him in Spanish as his English is not good. He gave us fruit, eggs and honey from his finca which was a really nice gesture.

Perfect retreat for a lovely relaxing holiday, and is definitely recommended.

Les enfants étaient très heureux d'avoir des poules et nous des oeufs frais tous les jours.

Traumhaftes Haus

Diese Finca ist bezaubernd super schön, die lage ist perfekte man hat es dort sehr ruhig ist aber in 20 min an der Küste Malagas.Die Einrichtung ist sehr ansprechend es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Der Kontakt vor Ort mit Rafael war sehr sehr nett es war einfach super und unkomplizierte. Das Außengelände ist super gepflegt und der Pool lädt jeden Tag zum planschen ein🤗. Jeden Tag frische Eier 😊. Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Lg Familie Doblas und Fiebeler
