Beaumanoir is a manor from the Directoire period (1794) completely renovated in 2014, in my grandmother's (father's side) native region.
The two 'classified 4*' flats and the two '3*' houses offer you :

With a large terrace and an independant garden of 900m², it can welcome a family of four persons,

- A bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm bed;

Former bakery of the mansion, the « Four à Pain » (« Bread Oven ») has already been rented by « Gîtes de France » in the past.
It is suited for a couple.
At ground floor :
- a small living room facing South with an ancient chimney re-fitted in 2014 :
a modern wood-burning stove uses compressed logs ;
- Kitchen facilities.
1st floor includes a bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm bed, which can be separated in 2 x 80 x 200 cm and a bathroom.
The 'Four à pain' is facing South, bordered by hedges, among the park's trees and features a small sunny terrace.
DAPHNE is a new 42m² flat at the ground floor in BEAUMANOIR :
- quiet with view on park and fields,
- fully equipped for 2 persons with bedroom, living-room, open kitchen (oven, hotplates, dishwasher, etc.), and bathroom;
- large sunny terrace ;
- accessible to persons with reduced mobility.
With my husband's help I have tried to create a place to rest, surrounded by nature and peaceful, near the beautiful historic village of Bayeux, rich in Norman history and memories of the heroes of D-Day.
We have been committed to environmental protection for over 20 years: the construction has an ecological design, food is organic and there is no Wi-Fi pollution (only cable connections).
Bed mattresses are new and firm for great back support and to provide a good night sleep.

Beaumont Claude purchased this chateau / country house in 2013
This is my grandmother's (father's side) native region, and I have always heard about her cousins in Bayeux but I only met them once.
The entire manor was renovated in 2013-2014 for this first year of tenancy.
We enjoy the peace and the fresh air of the Norman countryside from the south-facing terraces.
Beaumanoir is the last property in the hamlet, located right after Sainte-Radegonde Church, in a small hamlet of 25 families.
The apartment is beautiful and equipped for everything.. It's the perfect place for escape and relaxation
We spent 6 days loving our stay and the apartment became our base for exploring Normandy and Britany
So much to do and see .... We especially enjoyed our evening walks around the village and surrounding countryside

We had an excellent vacation at Normandy while staying in Daphne apartment.
We stayed on the ground floor with nice private terrace and view of green grass and cows.
Daphne apartment has fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with warm towels.
We did a star trip, every day we drove from Arganchy to a difference direction of Normandy.
We ate breakfast at the apartment and dinner at the nearest town - Bayeaux, just 10 minutes drive from the apartment.
The owner, Claude was very kind to us and gave us warm hospitality.
We recommend everyone who want to tour Normandy that apartment.

We spent 5 weeks in France and Spain and this is one of the best gites we had. It is extremely clean and nearly new. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed, the bed is very comfortable. The view is pastoral with church bells ringing quietly a couple of times a day and cows grazing on the other side of the hedge row. The location is convenient to all the Normandy sights.
Note, however, there is no WiFi which was difficult for us since we research and plan as we go and we use tablets. It may not matter to you. There is a cat-5 connection port for laptops.
We loved this beautiful apartment (Daphne) in the quiet countryside very close to Bayeux. The setting was simply lovely. Very peaceful and easy to navigate from Bayeux. We were on the ground floor with lovely private terrace and view of the magnificant grounds. The apartment was beautifully decorated with excellent furnishings, comfortable bed, full kitchen and deluxe bathroom. The laundry room was nearby and very easy to use. We were able to cook our meals there and relax on the terrace or inside when the weather will cool and stormy. There are no shops in Arganchy so we did our shopping in Bayeux which was close by. We were a little cool and Claude was kind enough to provide us with a portable heater. We spent the week exploring nearby attractions as well as a trip down to Mont St. Michel. It was always nice to return to our quiet home in the country. Claude and Pascale made sure we had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay.
We enjoyed the appartement, which was very nice renovated and provided everything you need for a relaxed stay. The manoir and the gardens provided a wonderful environment. Claude and Pascale were very helpful and gave us good advice . We surely will recommend the manoir to friends and family.
Sehr geschmackvoll und modern renovierte Unterkunft inmitten eines großzügigen parkartigen Geländes in historischen Gemäuern. Supernette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Gute Lage für Bayeux, Contentin-Halbinsel und natürlich sämtliche Landungsstrände und zugehörigen Museen. Auch der Mt. Sain Michel ist schnell erreichbar.
