Blooming and enclosed garden of 1600 sq.m. Roofed heated swimming pool of 12 m X 6 m, solar shower, and shaded terrace of 100 sq.m. It is ideal for families and snowbird couples. Ground floor: open plan living room-kitchen of 60 sq.m, master bedroom 1 (double bed) of 26 sq.m + bathroom, office, and toilet. First floor: bedroom 2 (double bed) of 28 sq.m, bedroom 3: (single bed), of 14.50 sq.m, bedroom 4: (double bed), of 16 sq.m., bedroom 5: (2 single beds) of 32 sq.m, bathroom, and toilet. Great property but poorly secured - rent at your own risk!

We stayed in this house for a week with 2 adult children. The location is very quiet, with a nicely maintained garden and pool, overall a functional home in good order and clean with a lot of charm. We especially enjoyed the saltwater pool and dinners outside under the large tree.

Unfortunately the day of our arrival we were robbed, by thieves who entered the same exact way as others had in the past - a poorly secured side door. When we came home the robbers were still in the house, a very scary situation. The rest of the vacation was ruined since they stole passports which we had to go to Paris to get replaced, and our kids were very upset at the loss of their electronics, cameras, leather jacket and other beloved and irreplaceable personal belongings. The owners did not make any accommodation for the fact the robbery could have been prevented had they correctly repaired the compromised door - no offer to discount the stay, buy a dinner in town, or somehow demonstrate they were sorry for spoiling our family vacation. It is a shame because we come back to this area every year and the property itself is very nice and spacious. Had we not been robbed we would probably have rated the physical property a 5 stars, but the fact it could have been prevented and the owners did not take responsibility for the crime really cast a pall on our entire stay - a very expensive affair coming all the way from California.

Owner's Response: Sincèrement heureux que nos hôtes Franco-Américains aient apprécié "le jardin, la piscine d'eau salée, les dîners à l'extérieur sous le grand arbre... et que la maison pleine de charme mérite un 5 étoiles". Deux remarques: - " porte latérale mal sécurisée ". La porte forcée par les voleurs ( bois plein et serrure 3 points) étant parfaitement conforme aux exigences de sécurité de notre Assurance , notre responsabilité n'a pas été engagée et les dégâts intégralement pris en charge par notre Assurance . - " une affaire très couteuse" : Par le contrat de location ( clause 12) approuvé et signé par le "Preneur", ce dernier confirme avoir une Assurance couvrant ce genre de risques personnels. Et ce n'était pas le cas . Nous comprenons parfaitement cette grande déception.Nos hôtes sont accueillis chaleureusement. Toujours. Et assistés au mieux, ce qui fut le cas. IN ENGLISH (Google traduction thank you) Sincerely pleased that our Franco-American hosts have enjoyed " the garden, the saltwater pool, the dinners outside under the big tree...and the house with a lot of charm, rating a 5 stars! Two remarks: - " a poorly secured door". The door forced by thieves ( full timber and lock 3 points) meeting perfectly the security-requirements of our Insurance, our responsability was not engaged and therefore the damage fully covered by Insurance. - " a very expensive affair". In the lease agreement ( clause 12) approved and signed by the Tenant, the Tenant confirms to have Insurance covering such personal risks. Il was not the case. We really understand this important disappointment . Our guests are warmly welcomed. Always. And assisted at best, which was the case.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison très agréable et très bien achalandée, idéale pour 2 familles et un couple ! La piscine est exceptionnellement grande et le coin terrasse parfait pour les repas.

Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et réactifs, bref nous recommandons cette adresse très chaudement !
