I chose a mid-week sanity-getaway here in July and was very pleased I did so. The space is exactly as shown - literally small but very efficient & easy to work in, brightly & tastefully decorated, well organized, comfortably cooled w/ fans & AC and stocked with beach & kitchen necessities as advertised. (Note: you really do need to bring ALL spices - even salt & pepper - as it’s just flatware/knifes/pans that’s provided.) The bed seems newer & was very comfortable: all the linens were fresh & clean without being overly scented. (As a daily mascara wearer, I would recommend you bring your own washclothes so as not to stain their new white ones - that’s mentioned in their suggestions too though.)

My goal was to lounge at the beach / pool, talk walks, read books, & just regroup. All of that was possible here & I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I really appreciate that the owners had beach chairs + umbrella I could borrow for the beach as it made my time out there just super. The communication with the owners was excellent and thorough and everything made sense once you read the directions / instructions booklet they provided.

The unit does face the parking lot, not the beach, but I knew this prior to arriving and didn’t feel it detracted from the stay. If you keep the all-glass storm door closed & locked and the regular door open, it lets in a huge amount of light inside (though you do sacrifice some privacy). I found this to be completely acceptable especially as I spent most of my time out of the unit and was only inside at night.

I felt completely safe on premises and while walking the beach as a single female w/ only polite but limited interactions with what seemed like other quiet folks wanting to enjoy the beach. I had no theft issues when I left my towel, cooler, backpack, books, & umbrella at the beach to go back and forth to the room (~20 min each time). The ‘community’ bathrooms for the pool area were quite dated & there was a strong mildew smell in them( but hello! it’s at the beach!), but they worked well and were located for easy access. There were several outside shower locations to rinse off sand/salt which was much appreciated.

I loved this little unit and had a wonderful time there. I’d return and absolutely recommend it to others! Due to its size, it’s likely best for no more than 2 people who are tidy & do not intend to spend a lot of time in the unit itself. Thank you for a lovely stay - I hope to return again!

We came to Atlantic Beach hoping to stay near the ocean and this place was definitely a big hit for us. This condo itself is not ocean front but the beach is directly accessible from the condo, which was fine by me. Our condo was clean and adorable, there were no loud disturbances at night (a huge plus), and was located minutes from some really awesome restaurants and neighboring towns. If you decide to come to Atlantic, I encourage you to try Shark Shack, they have some awesome seafood! The only thing I could say to help out somebody else is to maybe bring a few extra bath towels of your own. I really loved this little condo and would highly recommend it to others!

Great atmosphere, very nice, homey :)

Despite the windy weather left over from Hurricane Irma, I had a wonderful time. I highly recommend guests try out the Island Grill. Excellent food although somewhat pricey.

The room was great. The shower curtain was missing so I went to Dollar General and got one. I can reuse it in Greensboro.

I hope I have an opportunity to return sometime in the future.

Perfect for our family of four. Clean and great location.
