About Corinne Pascale

I love classical music too much, architecture, design, gardens, good cooking...I have been living in Aix for 30 years, I could give you a lot of good adresses and advices....

Why Corinne Pascale chose Couronne Urbaine

The appartment is very well located, quiet in downtown, you can go everywhere without a car.

the large terrace with bushes is a good place to have a rest...The GTP ( great theater of Provence)

is at 100 meters from the appartement...

the grocery Monoprix at 50 meters, open untill 9 pm and on sunday morning is very convenient to buy everything for the lunches at the last moment...

You can park ( middle size car maximum ) easily your car in the very secure basement of the building .

What makes this apartment unique

The appartment has been renewed 3 years ago ) . Each bedroom has a desk, large closets and chair, they have nice colored walls..

the beds are news and very good quality.

the bedrooms are far from each other and quiet.

the district is pedestrian ...two bedrooms give on the terrace, the other one give on a very quiet little street. you don't need any car to visit Aix and the Provence if you want because the bus station is at 5 minutes walking from the appartment....

It's also at 5 minutes from the famous cours Mirabeau and Mazarin district, the nicest old place with mervellous mansions in Aix...

The kitchen is very full equipped. The new wood floor gives this apartment a warm athmosphere. Books, green plants, very personal decoration make yourself at home. The apartment is very convenient with a lift going from the apartment to the car park. Very secure building whose entrance needs a private fob.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Aix-en-Provence

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Corinne's apartment for the last week of our 3 week visit to France. What a delight! The apartment is filled with light, beautiful furnishings, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. On sunny days, the terrace is ideal for sitting with a glass of wine, some bread and cheese and either reading or people watching. Below the apartment is the Monoprix grocery store which can supply anything you need (including clothing!), several places for fresh bread and pastries and restaurants. The Tourist Office is a block away where you can book trips (we went to the Carmarque and the French Riviera) and you can get on the tram to give you a 40 minute tour of the old city just a half a block from the apartment. Having a garage with the apartment is a bonus but make sure you have a small car. We had a mid sized car that was just a bit too big for the little garage. (I was a little nervous about scraping the sides of a rental car.) Parking on the street can be challenging. But if you don't need a car, you can get anywhere by bus, train, taxi, uber. Corinne was so nice to work with and we would recommend her apartment to anyone. We were 3 women so we each had our own room to retreat to. And the kitchen has new modern appliances and all you need to cook a meal. Thanks Corinne for a great apartment!

Nice location and convenient to shopping and markets.

This was our first VRBO and overall we had a nice experience. The kitchen was well appointed with an abundance of various foods leftover by previous guests. Being our first VRBO we were not sure if it was our responsibility to purchase toilet paper because there were 3 half rolls for 4 people for a week. Monoprix was across the court yard, so we bought some. Mostly quiet but the court yard area (public) can be a bit noisy late at night if the public makes it so.

Owner's Response: Thank you for having take the time to write a review on the website. Actyally there are some Hygien things for the first day of the stay and some leftovers.... Monoprix located next of the appartment is a convenient grocery open until 9 pm and even on Sunday morning . At the other hand, the beginning of May could be a little bit more busy due to national feasts....

Spacious, well-appointed apartment in an ideal location just steps from the Cours Mirabeau.

  • 5 of 5

Quite comfortable stay with all modern conveniences. Excellent location in a shopping area next to the Cours Mirabeau. Parking in building for a small car. Our car was too big so we parked steps away at the Park Rotonde. Corrine was a great host and was quick to answer when we had questions. Highly recommended.

Comfortable, very clean, prime location, and Corinne is a pleasure to deal with

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed in Corinne's apartment in Aix for 5 days. There are so many things to love about this place. Our train arrived in Aix at noon and Corinne agreed to let us check-in early, meeting us promptly at the agreed upon time. She showed us around the apartment, explained how everything worked (there are convenient little notes and instructions written all around the apartment), how to get around town, and made some restaurant suggestions. She was very warm and welcoming, and her English is very good. She is readily available by phone and answers emails very promptly, so we always felt that she was accessible if we needed anything.

When we first walked into the apartment, I was thrilled with how large and bright each room is, and it looked and smelled very clean. The living room is very comfy, and the kitchen is well outfitted. I loved the layout of the apartment because the sleeping quarters were separated from the kitchen/living room by a double set of doors, so it was very private, and I never felt like I had to be quiet if someone else was sleeping. Having access to a washer and dryer during our stay was a great convenience as well. I really need good air circulation when I am sleeping, so I was thrilled to find that each bedroom had a fan. The kitchen was well-supplied with dishes, pots, and many kitchen staples such as spices, oils, vinegar, etc. There were only a few things that could have been stocked a little more plentifully. A few extra bath towels would have been nice, and we did go to the Monoprix to pick up extra toilet paper, napkins, kleenex, and laundry detergent. We did not contact Corrine at all about these items as we truly didn't mind picking up these disposable items for our stay.

The location of this apartment is fantastic. The courtyard below includes a drug store, a grocery store (Monoprix), a wine store, and two restaurants...all the basics covered within a 3 minute walk. Across the street, you have a number of retail shops and within a 5 minute walk, you have the Tourism Office, access to the Hop on/off shuttle, city buses, and the market. We booked several day trips at the Tourism office and it was so convenient to meet the shuttle buses only 5 minutes up the street every day. Location could not be any better.

I would definitely stay in this apartment again, and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone

Wishing this was my full-time residence!!

  • 5 of 5

In early October 2017 three female friends and I spent seven nights in this beautiful apartment in Aix. From the moment we met Corinne in the apartment until the following up e-mails on the day of our departure - we knew that Mirabeau was our right choice. The apartment is very spacious with three large bedrooms, two baths, a well appointed kitchen and exceptionally roomy living room/dining room, and one of the most enjoyable terraces ever - the site of many days of relaxing over a cheese/chocolate/wine trays. Being an all female group we felt extremely safe in the apartment and in/around the area. We were within easy walking distance of the tourist information facility, fabulous restaurants, shopping, museums, grocery, pharmacy, ATM, and of course, the markets. The apartment elevator was a welcome sight after long days of walking/touring and the garage for our rental car was a big plus. Corinne has done a great job to ensure that all needs are met, with top quality linens, kitchen appliances, toiletries, and a good assortment of teas, sugar and spices. The apartment is even more enticing that the photos. As I said in my review title -- I wish this was my full-time residence! Thank you Corinne for having us in your apartment for our Aix-en-Provence vacation. We will be back!
