The apartment has been renewed during the spring 2014. It is located at 50 meters from the Cours Mirabeau, District Mazarin and the Grand Theatre de Provence.
The large terrace of 20 square meters has tall bushes , you can have a rest on the armchairs at the shadow.
The living room floor as well as 2 bedrooms has woodfloor giving a warm and charming character to this spacious, and bright rooms. A large window of the living room overlooks on the terrace.
The 3 rooms have a desk and large closets. They are equipped with new And good bedding.
The kitchen is equipped with new household electronic appliances and a circle table. the kitchen gives on a little street with big trees. The living room and two bedrooms overlook on the terrace. The third bedroom overlooks a quiet street. You will be amazed by the quiet of this apartment in the most famous area in Aix en Provence. You will find all the shops and restaurants on the foot of the building including a grocery open until 21 pm and on Sunday morning. Books, magazines, board games, information on visits, green plants, pictures of Matisse, Cezanne, Macke, Monet' s painting ... to feel yourself at home. There are also very powerful fans in each room that cool the aera during the months of July and August. You have a secure car park in the building's basement
with lift running to the apartment.
The day of arrival, going to the apartment is very convenient due to the close bus station which is 5 minutes by walking from it. There are buses every 20 minutes from the train station and the airport to the Aix downtown bus station.
You can buy your tickets in the bus. You will also rent a car at 200 meters from the apartment.
I am sending you a detailed map with advices to go to the apartment on the first day. The owner manages the appartment by her own, she welcomes you and will give very useful advices for having a nice stay in Provence.

I love classical music too much, architecture, design, nice garden, good cooking...I have been living in Aix for 25 years, I could give you a lot of good adresses and advices....
The appartment is very well located, quiet in downtown, you can go everywhere without a car.
the large terrace with bushes is a good place to have a rest...The GTP ( great theater of Provence)
is at 100 meters from the appartement...
the grocery Monoprix at 50 meters, open untill 9 pm and on sunday morning is very convenient to buy everything for the lunches at the last moment...
we can park easily your car in the very secure basement of the building .
The appartment has been renewing one year ago ) . Each bedroom has a desk, large cupboards and chair, they have nice coloring walls..

the bedrooms are far from each other and quiet.
the district is pedestrian ...two bedrooms give on the terrace, the other one give on a very quiet little street. you don't need any car to visit Aix and the Provence if you want because the bus station is at 5 minutes walking from the appartment....
It's also at 5 minutes from the famous cours Mirabeau and Mazarin district, the nicest old place with mervellous mansions in Aix...
We had a wonderful week staying here! If anything the apartment is more spacious and has more storage space than appears in the photos, with good-sized closets and shelves in each bedroom and space for toiletries etc in the bathrooms. We cooked and ate several meals in the apartment and found the kitchen very well equipped, not only with pots and pans but also some spices and staples, and the dining area very cosy for family dinners. The location is excellent -- walkable to everything in the center city but also, for trips out of town, easy to reach by car and park in the garage under the apartment. Beds were super comfortable -- queens in two rooms and choice of king or two twins in the "master" bedroom. All the modern conveniences worked well -- laundry, dishwasher, etc. At least at end of December/early January, area was quiet at night, and of course we had windows closed. Good heat in each room, including towel warmers in the bathrooms. Corinne was very accommodating and helpful.
I had a fantastic stay in Corrine's apartment with my 3 children. The location is excellent and Corrine was a wonderful host, very organised and helpful. Highly recommended!!
The best location in Aix. A five minute walk to La Rotonde and the Cours Mirabeau. The Market and Bakery right on the property made our life in the Apt very easy . Lots of room and very comfortable . Corinne was very helpful especially when we arrived and had not as yet learned how the traffic flow around Aix worked. Eventually we connected and all was good. Could not recommend this Apt any higher than FABULOUS !!!

We stayed at Corinne's apartment for a full week middle of September and it was everything we had hoped for and more. We were two families each with one young kid so the apartment was perfect for us. Aix is a lovely and lively town with a good night life. The apartment's location is 5 star: part of a complex with shopping center which means supermarket and restaurant/cafe literally downstairs as well as many other shops around, open market 3 days of the week at 100m, historic center at 10 mins walk...Apartment itself is more spacious than in the photos, everything very clean and comfortable, good large double beds, huge terrace where we spent all our time, and clear helpfull instructions from Corinne about how eveything operates. Corinne is a wonderful hostess, always smiling, always available and willing to go the extra mile to ensure you have a comfortable and peaceful stay. What more can a traveller want?
Well I just can't say enough about our stay at Corrine's place. The location was perfect and with our group comprising of half of us over 60 years of age by the unit having a lift and the vicinity was just what we needed. The unit was spacious, clean and comfortable and we felt at home during our stay.
Corrine was simply marvelous. She worked with my daughter and son-in-law whom live in Aix with getting us all setup even before we had gotten to the place. The fans and the breeze we had flowing through the home was great because of the abnormal heat wave that was in Aix at the time. I would recommend her home to anyone who wants to experience the South of France and especially Aix-en-Provence.

We were three single women staying for six nights in the center of Aix the first week in July. The property is perfectly positioned for groceries, shopping, markets and day trips around Provence. We were without a car, but everything was very close by. The tourist office was a three-minute walk away. The apartment was immaculate and beautifully appointed. The whole apartment is much larger than it appears in pictures. The patio was huge and was a lovely place to have meals and hang out. There are numerous nice restaurants in Aix, but we enjoyed cooking a few meals in the apartment. We also really enjoyed watching Wimbledon on the HUGE tv in the living room. You couldn't find a nicer place to stay in Aix and Corinne was a lovely hostess.

the apartment is located close to the Grand Théâtre de Provence, conservatory, Granet Museum, District Mazarin and the Cours Mirabeau. It is also very close to the bus station which has very frequent shuttles to the Marseille Provence airport, the TGV station, Marseille and many other destinations.
Monoprix grocery store is 30 meters from the apartment, it is opened until 9 pm as well as Sunday morning. Also located at the foot of the building, a wine shop that sells a wide kind of French wines and who can advise you in your tastings.
The tourist office is 100 meters from the apartment.
