We had an incredible stay here! My husband and I and our 16 and 12 year old stayed here for 4 nights and were so comfortable and absolutely SPOILED by the location of the flat in relation to EVERYTHING we wanted to see and do! It is literally one street away from the Louvre and on the corner right around the flat is an amazing Pâtisserie, Chocolatier Shop, Wine store called Nicholas, a little market and an ATM machine. We were so spoiled with the 1 min walk to the Pâtisserie for fresh pastries in the morning with delicious fresh fruit from the market and with the early evening wine and meats and cheeses with fresh bagguette. It is a very short walk to the metro which is easy to use and got us everywhere we wanted to go. Never needed a taxi or bus. The flat is very beautiful and comfortable. The only bummer for us, if there even could be one, was that we were happened to be in Paris with all the rain and flooding (do not buy an umbrella from a street vendor because they flip inside out and break instantly). Since there is only a washer and no dryer, we stayed wet a lot, but that didn't stop us from have the most amazing time! Thank you, Veronica for all of your wonderful advice and help and especially for the beautiful flat. We will DEFINITELY refer people to you and plan to come back again someday! Merci!
My adult daughter and I spent six nights in this chic apartment, and loved every minute.
Upon arriving in Paris, I had a little trouble making my way around. The owner was waiting to greet me at the apartment and when I didn't turn up, she sent me a text then came and retrieved me from a cafe a few blocks away. Veronica was so kind and gracious, giving me a tour of the apartment so we knew how everything worked.
The unit is flooded with natural light, and feels much larger than it is. The space is very well thought out, with the kitchen incorporated on one wall and appliances hidden behind panels.
The queen bed is very comfy, and there are blackout curtains for privacy and sleeping in.
The location is incredible, with metro stations, good food and tourist sights close at hand.
I would recommend this apartment to anyone, provided they could climb the 75 circular stairs that lead to the door.
I hope to one day return to Paris, and to this lovely apartment.
I got a little "confused" getting from the airport to the apartment, so Veronica graciously walked up the street to find me and escort me to the apartment. She gave me a quick and informative tour and said I could contact her with any questions or concerns. She is a warm and friendly person, and speaks English!
The apartment is nice in pictures, but even better in person. Everything is clean and well maintained. There are windows all along one wall, so there is plenty of natural light flooding in. The curtains do block the light if you care to sleep in.
We couldn't have asked for a better location! Close to two metro lines and easy to get to all there is to see and do.
There's a little pastry shop nearby called Yannick Martin that is great for a quick bite in the morning (no coffee there, but you can make your own in the apartment!)
We did not make use of the sofa sleeper in the living area, instead using the king sized bed in the bedroom.
We did not try the handheld shower in the tub, but the full bathroom had hot water to spare. There are a total of two bathroom sinks, one tub with a handheld shower, one stand up shower and one toilet in the apartment.
The full but compact kitchen is stocked with all you could need, but we did not do any cooking. The fridge came in handy for chilled water.
The washing machine was a nice addition, even though the clothes air dried somewhat slowly due to the damp weather outside.
It was chilly while we were there, but the baseboard heaters kept us cozy at night.
We left Paris this morning and came to London. We already wish we were back at our Paris rental!
Thank you, Veronica, for a lovely first visit to Paris.
We stayed in Veronica's apartment in October, and found that this apartment - its location, layout, and hostess's help - enhanced our already great vacation. From comfortable bed to spacious layout - every detail was nice, the apartment was very clean, warm, airy, filled with light. We didn't mind 76 steep steps to the apartment (no elevator) - it was fun going up ( less so going down in heels)! But it is just part of this place's charm, and a nice way to burn an extra croissant! The place is safe, everything is within walking distance, there is nothing to wish for. Veronica, thank you for all your help and care, we'd love to stay in your place again!
Great location, the apartment is warm and cosy and beautifully decorated, just like in the photos. Lots of great places to eat nearby, favourite one being Angelina tea house only around the corner. Veronica was fantastic in her communication and assistance. Hope to return some day :)
My husband and I and two children, aged 8 and 10 years stayed in this apartment for 5 days in September 2016. We found it immaculate, just as the pictures had indicated and it had everything we needed. The location was fantastic, close to Jardin Tuileries and the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Place Vendome and the Garnier Opera. The area is pricey, more so than say Saint Germain or the Latin Quarter, but also less touristy I found. There was a lovely little bar just to the right as you came out the door, first left and one block down on the right hand side corner - enjoy! Thank you Veronica for a lovely stay in beautiful Paris.
