You're only a mile south of the heart of Oak Bluffs, making it easy to visit quaint shops, delicious restaurants, and the sandy shores of Inkwell Beach. Stroll along Seaview Avenue for some fresh ocean air, or make the trek to Joseph Sylvia State Beach only a half-mile from home. Looking for a change of scenery? Edgartown is only five miles away and provides access to the beauty of Chappaquiddick Island thanks to the Chappy Ferry.

The Island Inn provides plenty of ways to kick back and relax. Farm Neck Golf Club is only a quick walk away, with Har-Tru clay tennis courts and a pool even closer. Dine in the fresh air at the picnic and grilling area outside, or use the cozy kitchen in your suite. The kitchenette includes silverware, plates, cups, cooking pans, and utensils. However you spend your day, you can end it around the firepit or enjoying free WiFi and cable on the flatscreen TV back in your room. Tennis courts, plus racquets, and ball rentals are available at the Pro Shop. Tennis is available from May 15th through October. The seasonal pool is guaranteed to be open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. There is also a lovely on-site restaurant that is unaffiliated with the Island Inn.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Good location, water and plumbing not working

We were down for the weekend for pow wow. The room and amenities were very good. The hot water wasn't working and shower drain was slow. Called front desk Saturday about drain. No repairs. Sunday No hot water, Called front desk. We were leaving, was not resolved before leaving. Disappointed.

Lovely vacation stay!

This was great for couples family or friends trip! We loved the sights and restaurants nearby the tennis lessons so close to beach and restaurants and everyone was very friendly!

Uninviting and Tired

Although the new landscaping and signs at the Inn where a nice addition, we were disappointed with the decor and condition of the unit we got, especially as we had previously chosen a very nicely decorated room. We know it was the end of the season, but the carpet was stained, and bunched up in an area, the walls marked (they could have been washed) the table and hard stools very uncomfortable to sit on, and there was not even a picture or a nice (or matching) shower curtain to brighten up the small and dull bathroom. For about $12-15, a nice sea themed shower curtain or a picture in the bathroom (or even the kitchen) would have been a nice touch. The unit had no warmth and charm as the other units in the building, or as nice as some of the other hotels/inns for the same price point.

Tucked away hide-a-way

The location is everything. Great bar and restaurant at the end of the driveway, close to Oaks Bluff and to State Beach. Having a kitchen was a game changer. It was great to be able to make breakfast and coffee in the morning. It is a motel/hotel so they do come to clean, refresh towels and make the bed everyday. It was tight for 4 women. I am happy we brought an air mattress because 2 adults in a double bed is tough.
