Lovely apartment in fab location
We had a lovely stay at this apartment in Vejer. It’s a very simple place but it was clean and location was excellent. Lovely little pastry shop over the road, we popped in there most morning for coffee.
Communication was excellent and we felt looked after by the hosts. We hope to stay again sometime. Thank you!
Comfortable, well equipped apartment ideally situated in the old town
We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Apartment easy to find, we parked on the corner by the pasteleria to unload then parked in the main car park at the bottom of the hill. Always plenty of spaces. We have been to Vejer many times and love everything about it. We found this location perfect for wandering around and visiting the shops and restaurants. The roof terrace is perfect for sitting with a glass of orange wine and watching the sun go down over the new town. Loved waking up to the church bells. We didn't cook as there are so many great places to eat, but the kitchen has everything you need if you wanted to. Favourite breakfasts: the convento or la torre at el palmar. Favourite lunch: el nautico at puerto de conil. Favourite evening meal: steak at el central or tapas at trafalgar tapas in the plaza. Wifi was very good and well worth having. Loved every minute of our stay. Thank you.
We are so pleased your stay was so enjoyable. Hopefully you will come again
Very clean property in a good central location of the old town .
A very clean , generally well equipped flat in a really good location . We enjoyed our stay here and there is plenty to see and do in the area . Difficult to find at the outset ( but access arrangements were excellent ) and although fine for us would not be suitable for elderly or those with walking issues due to number of steps to the flat . Good sized sitting room and bedrooms and kitchen was well equipped too with enough crockery and cooking equipment. The heating was fine for February but I would suggest warmer bedclothes for this time of year and the single beds were a little uncomfortable. The sitting area could do with one more comfortable chair and the outside furniture was serviceable but a little scruffy . That said I would recommend the flat. Good price and good value . I think you should either mention in the advert that the internet is extra or add it to the price .
Thank you for your review and we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We take your comments on and will look at the suggestions you have made. Terry
It was aan pleasant stay.
Nice appartement. Everything you need was there. Charming village and close to beautifull beaches .
Early spring and Semana Santa in Vejer
We had a great stay in this well equipped apartment. It is in a perfect location in the centre of the old town of Vejer ,the most beautiful of the so called white villages in Andalucia. Many good restaurants and bars. This part of Spain has surprised us very much. Semana Santa ,the processions and "after party" ,the unspoiled beaches(Bolonia!),Cadiz and Jerez were beyond our expectations. And how nice it was to settle down on the roofterrace after each day trip.
We are pleased you enjoyed your stay in Vejer and the surrounding area. We look forward to your return visit if you decide to come again.
Home away from home
We had such a lovely time staying here. Vejer is just gorgeous, a picture perfect vision of southern Spain. Postcards of the town do not do it justice.
We came for a week in March and were thrilled. The weather was nice enough to take a few trips to the beach and the remainder of our time was taken up with exploring the winding little streets and poking our heads into open doors (cheeky but very difficult to resist).
We mostly ate out at some of the delicious restaurants about town but we did cook twice in the apartment and found it to be brilliantly stocked.
I'd definitely return. Thanks you For having us.
Vejer is a small perfectly conserved historic hill town surrounded by beautiful countryside and beaches. Its steep, zigzagging streets, whitewashed houses and flower-laden balconies also hide internet cafes, hotels, guesthouses, shops and restaurants, cafes and galleries. You can spend many hours wandering through the narrow streets finding hidden gardens ,beautiful patios, and specutaular views across vast open land. A drink at the windmill bar to watch the sunset out towards the sea, so aptly called 'Bueno Vista' should not be missed. The coastline of Costa de la Luz covers miles and miles of spectacular white sandy beaches. It is within easy reach of several airports and places of interest. Cadiz,Seville,Gibraltar and Acros to name just a few. Bolonia, down the coast towards Tarifa has a Roman town over-looking the sea and spectacular birds of prey up in the hills. A day trip to Morrocco is also a very easy and exciting addition to any holiday. The food shopping in Vejer is excellent
Golf: There are several good golf courses within easy reach of Vejer .
