First impressions very good, and great as our stayed progressed. Good location to explore Maine.
The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The view from the great room and the deck were of the cove through the trees. The short walk to the water had a deck to sit and enjoy the water and scenery. We were in the perfect location for day trips to Acadia National Park on one day. Then another day to enjoy Portland's water front and east promenade. Auntie and I luxuriated in a quiet day at the cabin when the boys traveled to Gorham, NH for the ATV trails. Our last day the boys had fun at Monkey C Monkey Do, and we all enjoyed lunch at Osprey Restaurant in historic Georgetown on our way to Reid State Park.
When we pulled up in the evening dusk to the cabin with the sunset hues on the water in the cove, we were sad that we had to leave in the morning.
We kept up with our laundry during our stay, so we are not packing home dirty laundry. The boys especially liked their ping pong table and the DVD selection. I liked the books! I am recommending the Clam N Cove to our friends in Hudson, Massachusetts.
Secluded and quiet, yet a perfect location to use as home base for our first ever trip,to explore Maine.
Quaint, quiet, and comfortable!
Our family enjoyed the serenity of the property. It was peaceful and relaxing. There was plenty of room and the ping pong table was a blast! We would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

Magnifique maison pour se reposer
Très grand chalet confortable, dans un lieu très retiré. La paix totale et la mer pas très loin.
Cove to Yourself
Our family enjoyed our first trip to Maine. The cabin was cozy for our group of 7 but the porch offered extra living space for our children (ages 11 to 16). We enjoyed kayaking, swimming, hiking and exploring the cove which we had all to ourselves. In the evening we sat around the campfire. Watch the tide go out and practically drain the cove. Amazing!
Conveniently located 10 minutes outside of the resort town of Boothbay Harbor. In town, you can enjoy scenic harbor cruises, sample the local seafood, and shop 'til you drop. Freeport Outlets, Pemaquid Point and other beaches are within a 45 minute ride.
Other Activities: hiking, *Kayaking, *Canoeing, whale watching, shopping, dining, galleries * Must rent your own at the cabin.
