Lovely apartment, perfectly situated and very helpful staff.

We were given a very friendly welcome and lots of maps and tips by People Rentals whose office is super close to the station.

Apartment is brilliantly situated right on the edge of the old town and close to the beach and bars of Gros too.

Really spacious and comfortable, with a large kitchen and separate dining area plus outside patio/courtyard.

The only downside is it is in the basement so although there are floor to ceiling windows in the main space giving into the courtyard there isn’t a huge amount of natural light. There were a few bulbs out in the dining area so that was a little dark, though I’m sure they would have come to change them if I’d asked.

Will definitely be back.

Very clean-well located at the river. . Washing machine. Wifi. Accommodating for departure time.

A challenge to figure out how to operate appliances. Stove required matches to light. Clothes washer also had no instruction on setting the buttons to work. Fridge and freezer perfect. Iron worked fine but the board had broken cover We had five hand creams and no shampoo. We had to purchase shampoo.

* Comb of the Wind - cable car to Amusement park (amazing views of the city). This is a walk we love to do on sunny weekends: 2,5 km - 30 min

* Cathedral: 800 m - 10 min

* Aquarium (3D crystal tunnel to watch the sharks) and town harbour: 600 m - 7 min

Spending a holiday in the Old Town is arguably the best way to discover San Sebastian on foot. You will love its lively narrow streets, inviting pintxos bars, open terraces, and everything else it has to offer. The beaches of La Concha and Zurriola are remarkably close if you want to sunbath or go surfing. The harbour is also a very pleasant area for afternoon walks and fine dining.

For shopping, the city center has the highest concentration of shops in the city and is located just a 4 minute walk away. At this location, you won't need a car unless you are planning on taking day trips to the many fishing villages scattered along the Basque coast. Delicious food, delectable wine, charming atmosphere...these are just some of the reasons you will love San Sebastian!
