The ***** resort has a private beach situated directly at the lagoon and a large swimming pool with kids pool. The lagoon is crystal clear and perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The house reef is in swimming distance from the beach and filled with exotic fishes and corals. On the beach you find palapas (palm leave umbrellas) and beach chairs free of charge for your convenience. Curacao Ocean Resort is gated and offers 1 private parking space for every apartment. Dolphins Corner is a comfortable spacious apartment with an open floor plan. The fully equipped modern kitchen and living area are one open space which continues in the adjoining balcony for the best outdoor dining. The apartment is modern furnished. Dolphins Corner has a master bedroom with king size bed, bed tables and built in closet. The bathroom is ensuite and features a shower, double sink and toilet. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds. The bathroom is connected and has shower, sink and toilet. The third bedroom is small and has 1 single bed.

AMENITIES
There is free high speed wireless internet available. The living room features a flat screen TV with cable. The living room and bedrooms have air-conditioning. The master bedroom also features a flat screen. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking top, refrigerator with ice cubes, dish washing machine, oven, microwave, coffee maker and everything else you need to make a perfect meal. A washer and dryer are available in the master bathroom.

SURROUNDINGS AND LOCATION
Curacao Ocean Resort is ideally located within walking distance of Sea Aquarium Beach with lots of entertainment like international restaurants, tropical beach bars like Mambo Beach, diving school Ocean Encounters, gym, spa, sauna, shops, a casino and the newly build boardwalk. Dolphin Academy is opposite of Curacao Ocean Resort where you often see the dolphins jump. Historic Willemstad (UNESCO world heritage) is only 10 car minutes away.

TO BE AWARE OF BEFORE BOOKING
This accommodation is a self-catered and privately owned property, meaning that the essentials are available for your convenience like: paper towels, 1st toilet paper, trash bags, hand soap, dish soap, dish tabs, sponge, bed linen and towels including beach towels. All other necessities that make you feel comfortable while travelling, like personal hygiene items, will need to be packed or purchased locally. The cost for normal usage of electricity (10 KwH pppn) is included in the rate. Over usage will be charged at USD 0.50 per KwH. Meter readings are taken down at check in and check out by the property manager. Cleaning is planned every 7th day with linen change.

Great Stay

We had a very nice stay at Jo’s place. Wonderful location- enjoyed walking to many nice restaurants. Loved the private beach. Spent many afternoons there.

Not a repeater

Property location and overall property itself was nice. We enjoyed having multiple restaurants nearby. Furniture, specifically dining set on deck and bamboo chairs are very uncomfortable with old, worn pillows on them. Beds are all singles, five in all ...and were very hard. There was old padding for two of the five beds to help with the hardness of the mattresses. Management moves the two beds next to each other and calls it a queen. As per other reviews, we were alloted 3 smaller rolls of toilet paper for the week. No facial tissue or hand soap was provided. Also as noted in prior reviews, blender did not work. As it was next to the last day, I did not call management for another blender. The private beach and snorkelling was very nice but I didn't care for the smokers on the beach. Pool area was very nice as well. Our phones must not have been set up for international calling from USA as we were having difficulty receiving calls and emails from management when they were requesting to show the unit to a potential buyer. My husband said he would not stay in this particular unit again.

Great location, peaceful resort

Dolphins corner was a very nice condo with plenty of space for our family of 5. The location is right next to the Seaquarium and close to Lionsdive& Mambo beach. Lots of food options and very lively nightlife. The condo itself was nice, just wish the master bed was an actual king sized bed instead of two twin size beds pushed together. I along with my husband nearly fell in between in the middle of the night a few times. Otherwise, no complaints. I was a bit concerned about overdoing it on the electric usage of 10kwh/ppm (50for our family of 5) but realized that even with use throughout the day/night when we were there and turning it off when we left, we didn’t go over. I also ran dishwasher once and did a few loads of laundry so my worry was for no reason. The breeze from the balcony & front door was so refreshing every morning. I loved having a full kitchen for breakfast when we didn’t want to get out for food. The ice maker and water dispenser on fridge was definitely very convenient and the water is very tasty( I’m picky about my water). Barbé was very nice to work with and very timely in response. She checked us in and checked us out. Overall, I would recommend Dolphins corner if you want the space to spread out and want to conveniences of Mambo beach.

Great view private beach

Property manager was very good and was easy to reach. Apartment is very nice and gave us the opportunity to watch the Dauphins jump from our balcony. The private beach is awesome with great snorkelling. Groceries stores nearby and mambo beach 5 min walk with variety of restaurants. All restaurants are very good. We never had a bad meal in our vacation We definitely want to come back There was some construction next door that was annoying and the owner contacted me to apologize as he was unaware this was going to take place.

Beautiful condo, awesome pool and private beach area, everything we needed the place had, it was very clean, perfect location, we plan to definitely stay here again when returning to the island!! The only thing I would suggest is to update the hanging rack outside to something a little bit more durable. Overall we rate this condo a 10-10!
