This cottage is located in residential area "El Puntal" in the quiet Andalusian village of Padul, 10 km from Granada, famous for its unique wetland. From here it is only 50 km to the Costa Tropical, 40 km from Sierra Nevada Ski Resort, and a few steps away is the Lecrín Valley with its rich orange groves. The house has top quality finishes, including traditional tiles Mensaque Seville, which are used both outdoors and indoors.
The three bedrooms on the first floor have fitted wardrobes; two bedrooms have balconies with stunning mountain views. The spacious garden is tiled, there are several fruit trees and a large private pool with modern cleaning system provides coolness in the hot summers. The caretaker comes every 3 days for the maintenance of the pool at a suitable time. In the garden is also a barbecue at your disposal and a garden house. The plot is situated on a street corner and is fully fenced with gates and balustrades with cypresses in front, which provide plenty of privacy.

We had a very happy and restful week and have come away with good memories of the villa, the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada region. For us, a shorter stay would have been better and then to move on to Cadiz perhaps. We did in fact leave a day early and returned to Ubeda which we had visited on our way to Padul.
The only setback we have had to been the lack of information with respect to that could not light the fire, which was quite cold inside the house, the radiators were pretty bad.
House in good condition, well situated near Granada and relatively close to beaches. Good privacy, excellent host (agent), with very good advice, home spacious and very well equipped. Improve air conditioning and fundamental reform of the pool (quite old and damaged)
Prachtige villa, alles aanwezig, grote tuin en zwembad, vriendelijk dorp, heerlijk eten bij La Cantina, dichtbij Granada, een topper!

Heerlijk ruim huis, goede bedden, gastvrij onthaal. Sleutelbeheerder woont ernaast en spreekt redelijk Engels. Zwembad is prima, buiten BBQ was fijn. Moesten wij nog wel schoonmaken, echt een minpunt.
Sinaasappel- en citroenboom achter in de tuin, lekker om regelmatig jus d'orange te maken. Bedden zijn prima, huis is koel. Wifi prima,
Ruime keuken, fornuis was niet schoon (vol met olie), Afzuiger stonk naar vet. We moesten het keukenraam permanent open houden. Dan ging het.
Let op de hoeken van de schouw boven het fornuis, kun je lelijk je hoofd aan stoten.
