3 Apts & 3 Adjoining Studios With Pool-Reduced rates for OCT & NOV 2014

Chelsea Villas consists of 2 self contained 1 Bed Apartments with 2 self contained Studios. There is a ground floor apartment & studio and 1st floor Apartment & Studio.

The studio can be locked off as a separate rental suitable for a couple/single person. Or it can suit a family/friends gathering renting both 1 Bed Apartments and both studios (between 8 - 10 adults in total). Great for family reunions or a wedding party. All at the same venue but with your own private self catering if required.

Each apartment and studio boast a contemporary, clean style and all are well equipped. The kitchenette in all the units are very well stocked with crockery/utensils/pans/pots/glassware. There is both inside and outside dining available. The bathrooms are a great size with walk in showers. There is plenty of cupboard/wardrobe space and there is a safe in each apartment and studio. Fresh bed linen and towels are supplied and a mid stay clean is also provided.

A communal laundry room is also provided on the 1st floor with a top loader washing machine. Drying lines to the left side of the property also provided.

Each apartment and studio has a generous sized patio with outside dining to seat up to four. There are also 2 sun loungers to each apartment & studio. To the rear of the apartment and studio block is a relaxing area and a pool.

Please note the prices differ for the studios and 1 bed apartments.

Chelsea Villa Outstanding

We stayed at Chelsea villas for 3 weeks last April. All the amenities we needed were at the apartment. Lorraine our hostess was awesome in providing us with all the comforts of home, including organizing a car rental. Clean comfortable and I. Walking distance to the ZR stops and beaches. Highly recommended and guess what!!! We have booked for Fecruary 2017 for another 3 weeks. We can't wait!!!

Didn't want to leave!! Will return!!

Ours was a five week stay over the holidays, so we got to know the place.

People: Lorraine and Christine are always welcoming, responsive to any apartment related questions and generous and fun resources to learn about all of Barbados. ..They were helpful from arrival to departure on everything from a minor plumbing issue to excellent banana bread, flying fish and the best of the Sunday afternoon bar b ques.

Place: Newer construction (everything works!), nicely equipped for a comfortable stay, and having the pool waiting for your return on a hot day is a treat.

Location: Walking distance to market, bank, beaches, etc. ...AND the Oistins fish market, the best on the island. Buses and the ZR vans get you wherever else you are going very inexpensively...and you get to enjoy some local culture on the way. Or Lorraine or Christine will help you find a rental car at a reasonable price. Or use their favorite cab driver, Ricky.

Best things to do: Oistins Fish Fry, our “local” beaches, the glitzier beaches of the west side, the Concorde Experience, Hunte Gardens, Harrison Caves and a special call out to Welchman Hall Gully.

And, based on other places/prices we saw, the pricing for Chelsea Villas is fair and was a great value to us.

Impressive.

We had a wonderful stay at Chelsea Villas. Lorraine was there to meet and greet us, and even went completely out of her way, to run us down to Dover Supermarket, so we could pick up some bits, as we arrived late evening. Our Studio had everything, you need, and was very clean. Just a 5min walk down the road, you are welcomed by an amazing beach. Christine, made us feel very very welcome. We were around a 10 min bus ride away from St Lawernce Gap, but it is so easy to get around, you can jump on a Zr, which only cost around 50p. I would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful 2 weeks!

We are a couple in our late 50s/early 60s who have been traveling somewhere warm/sunny every winter for the past 25+ years. We stayed in 1st floor/front apartment (#4 I believe) for last 2 weeks of Jan. 2016. This was our 3rd time in Barbados staying in guest houses each time. This was our favourite in terms of location (right between the Gap and Oistins) and how comfortable/safe we felt. Ours was a 1 bedroom, which was air conditioned :). Fans in the living area and nice big breezy patio also kept us comfortable. Everything we needed was in the apt, cooking utensils, dishes, tons of TV channels, comfy furniture, table on the patio, even a small pool/garden area... Christine was on-site if we needed anything, Lorraine came around often to check also. Nice and quiet, just what we were looking for.

In terms of location, you can walk to Oistins if you like walking (approx. 20 minutes for us), there is a grocery store there, bank, fish market, beach a little further down.... We walked to the Gap/back once, but it was far enough that we didn't do it again ;). We used the ZRs (local mini-van bus service) to get to the beaches and Bridgetown which never took very long (ie: 15 minutes tops).

We love the beaches in Barbados, and you can always find one or more within walking distance it seems. Although we had planned to spend our time at Maxwell beach which is approx. 5-10 minute walk, we found tractors there with digging/renovations ongoing (by the Sands hotel chain I believe). As a result there were no beaches with chairs/umbrellas to rent nearby, necessitating some ZRing to the other beaches where they were available. We used Miami beach, Dover, Rockley and Brownes Beach/Carlisle Bay - that turned out to be our favourite since the water was more calm (though the crowds larger).

All in all a wonderful trip with exactly the accommodations we were looking for.

Enjoyed our stay at Chelsea Villas when we visited September 2015. Stayed in a one bedroom apartment with my partner. Clean and tidy and well maintained.Management was very helpful and pleasant. located near to shops and bars. Walking distance to the beach, and easy access to bus service. Would recommend as somewhere to relax

Great apartment!

We stayed in the ground floor 1 bedroom apartment for 10 nights. The apartment is very well equiped. The bedding and towels are of good quality and the kitchen was great. We enjoyed eating on the patio and I liked to read by the pool which was peaceful and quiet. It is in a good location only a couple minutes walk to the main road. We also felt safe walking back to the apartment at night. Lorraine and Christine were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely recommend this place!

Welcome to Chelsea Villas situated in a fantastic location on the South Coast. Fairholme Gardens is a very peaceful neighbourhood, however a 4 minute stroll to Maxwell Main Road, to your left takes you to Oistins Fishing Village. There is a Supermarket open 7 days a week, a Bank with 24hr ATM access, Fitness Centre and past the famous Oistins Fish Market there is a Post Office & ATM access. There is also a fabulous small restaurant/bar - Surfers Cafe, great view of the Ocean & good food. Friday night is a must to visit the famous Oistins Fish Fry, great food, entertainment, craft and jewellery stalls and music to suit all. Further along from the Fish Market, there are more beaches, Enterprise and Miami. Great for swimming and relaxing with fabulous views. Enjoy an afternoon at Miami with a cool Banks Beer and fresh Fish Cakes from Mr Delicious' Van!

To your right from Fairholme Gardens leads you to Bridgetown. Across the main road is a bus stop. Vans (known as Zr's) are in their plentiful & a great experience to get to know the locals! However If reggae music is not your thing there are also the large blue transport buses. Both charge just $2 (BDS) for a 2 minute journey to St Lawrence Gap, or all the way to Bridgetown, a BARGAIN where ever you disembark! At St Lawrence Gap, you have the beautiful Dover beach. There is also a great choice of restaurants and bars along the GAP for a great night out. The Vans/Buses can also drop you off at Accra Beach, yet another fabulous beach. There is the Tikki Bar for lunch, drinks and sun-chairs for a great fixed price. If you decide to stay on the ZR Van/Bus all the way to Bridgetown (for $2!), you have a great choice of duty free shopping. The Vans and buses run from 6.00am to midnight every day. 3 Great Bargains in Barbados, $2 van/bus fare, Banks Beer and the local Rum! A visit to the Rum Shops is a must, another BAJAN experience you cannot miss!
