A very spacious town house situated in a quiet residential area of Klagenfurt exactly halfway between lake Wörthersee and the city centre. Bus links to both are close and frequent. The house has three bedrooms on the first floor, with an extra single bed in the livng room, and could comfortably sleep more than it does. The kitchen is totally seperate and has an extra sitting area. The furnishings are not new, but in good condition and all fully functional. The garden is fenced and private with berry bushes and fruit trees, and there is a roofed patio next to the living room. A nice house with plenty to see in the area.

I chose this accomodation for a week stay prior to taking part in Ironman Austria. It was perfectly situated between the town of Klagenfurt and the Lake Worthersee. Both were easily accessible by car (5 mins) or on foot (25-30 mins) The house was peaceful and ideal for me as I needed to be able to relax prior to the Ironman event. The house has a quirky charm and the owner was helpful and kind. I would definitely stay here again should I return to do the race in the future.
The house is like it appears on the pictures, with one big exception the kitchen has been renovated and it is practically new. This was the only surprise (and a very positive one) that we found on arrival.
The house is on a nice neighborhood of similar one- or two-family houses, with very few traffic and noise, and no problems to park. Just an easy 5-minute drive and you are in the highway either in direction of Vienna or Salzburg.
The other big plus of the house are the owners very easy to communicate with, always available and absolutely eager to help you make the most of your visit.
I was sorry to be only a week in Hildegard. The house was comfortable and well equipped, and the owner especially friendly and helpful. It is ideally situated midway between the Worthersee and the City Centre. There are plenty of good eateries nearby catering for different tastes and budgets especially in the University area.
