This recently build house stands on a unique location, 5 km outside of the town of Meiringen, and is surrounded by mountains, a great deal of beautiful nature and there is no traffic noise. Children can play here undisturbed; there is various childrens play equipment, small animals such as guinea pigs, marmots, rabbits, donkeys, turtles, sheep and chickens. Children can also help with the haying and other activities that take place on the farm. There is a very well maintained and furnished holiday residence on the ground floor. The walking paths start directly near the house.

The area was awesome surrounded by beautiful scenery and so much to do within the immediate area. Brog is in a quiet peaceful location with lots of walks around it and yet just a short ride from major attractions. The chalet was basically equipped but had no sharp knife making it hard to cut vegetables, a new coffee machine without any instructions. The chalet was hot and stuffy if you opened the windows loads of flies came in and if you opened the bedroom window you were woken at 5.35 by a car leaving from outside the window. You had to wash any utensils which had been left out before using them as flies had walked all over them! The owners knew about the problem as they had left out a tin of fly spray but this was insufficient to address the problem. The chalet needs air con or a fan or an electric fly killer. An apology might also have been appropriate. Also when we arrived at 18.00 there was only 2 sheets of toilet roll and no directions to the nearest shop that was open this is also unacceptable.
a week at Brog. Friendly family, peaceful spot with outlook to pasture and mountains, a different sky and light every evening.Perfect place for a rest and not at all isolated but away from the town,(5minutes) and main road. Definitely need own transport..Ideal base to explore or just chill out. Accommodation was good and would be suitable for four. If you want to be away from the noise and bustle of the town but near enough to access its services with ease then this spot would worth considering.
Warm hospitality of the eigenaren.Prima and complete holiday destination. Beautiful surroundings and many opportunities for uitstapjes.Voor more than 2 people are less suitable.
This location is ideal as a starting point for hikes. The cottage has everything needed for an enjoyable stay.
Leuke vakantie genoten in een prachtige omgeving.
Je kunt hier eindeloos wandelen, rijden over diverse heel mooie passen en leuke plaatsen bezoeken. We hebben o.a. diverse Schluchten bezocht, met veel kabelbanen omhoog gegaan en naar beneden gewandeld. Ook is een bezoek aan Interlaken heel leuk. Leuke week gehad met prachtig weer.
