Beautifully renovated grade II listed property situated in the lovely village of Billesdon in the county of Leicestershire.

The property was stylishly renovated in 2015 bringing a fresh modern feel to the house whilst retaining original unique features.

The property has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are double and one of which is a single room - however the bed in this single room is a toddler bed and is therefore the listing is most suitable for 4 adults and 1 - 2 children or babies.

A key feature of the property is the large extended modern kitchen, with central island, perfect for cooking, eating, drinking and relaxing in.

The property has a separate dining room, sitting room, utility room and downstairs WC and there are two bathrooms upstairs.

There is off road parking and an enclosed lawned garden suitable for children.

The village of Billesdon has two traditional pubs who serve excellent English cuisine and there is a shop for most amenities in the village, and a post office as well.

Located just a 15 minute drive from the commuter town of Market Harborough for larger supermarkets and shopping and just 7 miles from the centre of Leicester city, the village is perfectly located for convenience, whilst still offering the true experience of the British countryside.

The rental comes with a weekly house keeper to maintain the property once a week and we operate a remote check in and check out policy for ease, however have family very close by should a personal check in be preferred.

Since we do not currently live in the country, communication can sometimes be difficult - however once a booking has been made you will be provided with all of the contact details for local support during your stay.

Since we have a little girl ourselves, the house has many toys and baby facilities available upon request including travel cots, high chair and garden equipment (sandpits etc)

The property has a beautifully modern but homely feel and make the perfect destination for a family Christmas or for a summer break.

Our home is unique as it is a grade II listed property that we have extensively and beautifully renovated to a very high end finish. The house has all the comforts and homely feel of an english country property, with the bright and spacious feel of a modern home as well.

We have retained the beautiful original features and combined them with a chic modern finish.

The home is very suitable for children and families

Perfectly situated within a 7 mile radius of two towns - Market Harborough and Leicester

Both towns comprise of comprehensive shopping facilities and activities for all the family (cinema, soft play, restaurants, bars)

There is a fantastic bistro pub in the next village (less than 1.5 miles away)

The village of Billesdon has all required amenities including 2 x traditional pubs, a village shop and post office

Makes a perfect home rental for Christmas

The house has under floor heating downstairs

Spacious and comfortable, particularly the kitchen

We found the house very comfortable and finished to a high standard, with attractive, coordinated décor. We liked the kitchen with its high ceiling, light and with excellent appliances and equipment. Importantly, the beds were comfortable. It was really useful to have one en-suite, a separate bathroom and a downstairs toilet. The house was warm and there was plenty of hot water - all essentials. We certainly plan to stay there again and found the owner very helpful in our initial contacts and with later instructions.

We did have an initial problem with the heating and hot water, which we solved ourselves via instructions from the internet relating to the fault. This was due to a leaking radiator which had not been noticed, but which the owner arranged to be fixed very quickly once notified. Some thought should be given to providing full 'visitors' emergency manual' for the property together with clear emergency contact details would be very useful in these circumstances, particularly at a weekend. We have often had these available at other properties. However, it was an advantage that we could get access to the boiler.

Altogether, an excellent and enjoyable stay.
