Just 10 km from Altenmarkt at a snow guaranteed height of 1,100 metres is the typically Austrian village of Forstau. The detached property,House Sonnen-Alp is situated in the centre of the village, The house occupies a sunny position and the newly renovated (2006) accommodation is situated on the first floor. Access to the 2nd floor, a private part of the owners, is through the shared hallway on the 1st floor. The spacious accommodation (100m2) comprises of the entire 1st floor and has been attractively decorated by the Dutch owners. As the owners are often not present you can enjoy extra privacy as the house is then for sole occupancy. You also have the use of three balconies and a large enclosed garden surrounds the house, where the children can enjoy playing. In the garden there is of course, garden furniture as well as a barbeque and various children's play equipment such as a trampolione, basketball net and football goal posts. A mountain stream flows along the rear of the house which is also attractive for children to play in. All in all a perfect address for a successful holiday.

House is centrally located near a few places with ski facilities. Easily accessible and perfect for a family with children where the bed for the 3rd child is not too spacious. Heating is to regulate, well after a learning period kitchen is a bit tight for 5 people. All present and the necessary provision in terms of shops nearby.

Lovely place to unwind! The house has all the necessary facilities. Outside plenty of room to sit and play opportunities for children.The except village has a bakery and two restaurants on no shops. Nearest village is 10 minutes away.
Good reception by the friends of the fam.Breukers was fine. Great place to enjoy things to do. From this apartment directly different routes, bakery and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment has a beautiful large garden waarje good to sit. From this location there are several attractions within relatively short distances. The apartment is very comfortable, with plenty of space to sit and relax in the lounge in the evenings. Perhaps more suitable for a family with two children, than for two adult couples, as the second bedroom is quite small. We ate all our meals in the kitchen, which is somewhat cramped for four diners, but there is also a good-sized dining table in the lounge which we did not use. There was plenty of hot water at all times, and a good powerful shower. You can walk from the apartment to the nearest uplift (5 minutes) and also into the woods for snowshoe excursions. Easy access to Salzburg for cultural visits (45 minutes). We very much enjoyed our stay.
