Enjoy your stay at Lake Guntersville in this floating cabin. 1 bedroom with queen bed and fold out couch in the living area provides room for three guests. With electric fireplace and plenty of space to dock your boat or personal watercrafts, there's no need to ever leave the cabin. It's also a great place to watch the sun rise and set as you fish from your own private deck. If you're looking to dine out, Wintzell's Oyster House is only steps away. Sorry no pets are allowed at the property.

Can't wait to return.
My husband and I came to celebrate our Anniversary. We absolutely loved it. The cabin was clean and the staff was wonderful. We are already planning our next visit.
Steven Yancey is a outstanding guy to deal with you won’t regret staying here
Thanks for everything Steven
Thank you for the review and thanks for staying. Hope to have y'all back again soon.
Plenty of docks to fish around. We didn't bring a boat but it didn't matter. Caught a ton of crappie, Bass, & catfish fishing around the docks. Very relaxing.
Thanks, it's great to hear y'all enjoyed your stay. I hope to have you back again soon.
Wouldn’t stay again
We love the fishing but the the smell was burning our eyes and the mold was terrible very uncomfortable
From time to time I do receive guests that rent a floating cabin expecting the Ritz Carlton. Due to the fact that it is a black holding tank, it can have a smell sometimes. However I provide each guest with my phone number so if there is a problem I can have maintenance tend to it, including repumping the tank if necessary. Furthermore there is no mold anywhere in the cabin as I'm sure people will realize by looking at my other reviews. My goal is always customer satisfaction but unfortunately not everyone can be satisfied.
Perfectly relaxing and romantic birthday getaway
My boyfriend took me to this floating cabin to celebrate my birthday this weekend. It was the best birthday weekend ever! The accommodations are so comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The location is perfect, right next to Wintzell’s Oyster House, where we had a great birthday dinner. And the Hampton Inn is a short walk up the hill. The hotel kindly extended us use of their pool and a good breakfast each morning. We were able to enjoy outdoorsy activities right off the cabin porch and the dock beside us. We launched our kayak and paddled it a short way to the outside of the cabin and easily tied it off to the porch. The views from the porch were lovely and diverse—if you look around the corner at night, you see city lights and light reflections on the water; if you sit back in the porch chairs you see a serene lake view and have a peaceful sense that you are far removed from the city, deep in nature. The interior was well-air conditioned, and the decor is fun and promotes relaxation. We loved eating at the cozy booth in the kitchen, and the bed was firm and gave us two great nights of sleep. If you need to escape to a spot that will help you slow down and unwind, this is a great choice. And it’s a perfect romantic getaway for a couple too. We did not want to leave, but we left feeling very happy, rested, relaxed, and rejuvenated. Thank you for everything, Steve! We will cherish this time always. You’re awesome, your cabin is awesome, and we look forward to staying again!
I can't tell you how happy it makes me to know our place provided y'all with a great experience. Thanks for sharing that. We look forward to having y'all back.
Great cabin! Only issues we had were no hot water and sewer smell. The marina repairman came by and told us there was a issue. He gave us some stuff to pour down the toilet to help with the sewage smell. We understand the lake life so these issues didn’t bother us. The cabin was quiet and had everything we needed! We would definitely stay again!
Thank you for staying and for the review. I apologize for the black tank smell. It can be an issue at times. I'm working with the marina on ways to improve that, such as having them pump it more frequently during the hotter months. When y'all come again I hope to make it a much better experience as we are always looking for ways to improve.
