A nice holiday apartment (60m2), situated in the Niederösterreich region, on the ground floor of this historic school building. This historic premise dates from the 16th century, and is built together with the closely situated church and the castle. The hall of the house, with arched ceiling, stands under Monument care. The house has a spacious and characteristic garden and front yard. The house is within approx. 15km from the famous convent Melk, the Wachau/Donau with vineyards, strongholds, convents and even very good cycling possibilities. Then there is the beautiful culture city Wenen (famous for its beautiful Schloss Schönbrunn, the Hofburg, the Spanish driving school...) easily reachable by car and train (60km). There are even day trips to the front Alps, where you can make beautiful mountain hikes. In short, a region which has much to offer!

We were warmly received by the administrator. We have a nice week and the apartment met our requirements and expectations. Almost everything necessary was present (the PC that the description was, however, was not there, but an Internet connection, so maybe best to bring own laptop or tablet if you want to use these, you get an hour a day free connection). The apartment can be used as a base for many excursions, eg to visit abbeys (Milk), ruins (Aggstein) etc. in the area, a Danube cruise (a cruise Brandner is definitely recommended), a visit to Vienna (since you're so, we are with the car to the garage and from there Hütteldorf ridden the subway pulled into the center, very easy to do). In the village itself we are not eating much but if we could recommend something in the environment it is Landgasthaus Falkensteiner in Roggendorf (near Loosdorf)) where in the large cozy veranda and enjoy a tasty dinner.
We enjoyed our stay in Loosdorf. Nice apartment, nice atmosphere. From Loosdorf you're within a half hour by train in Vienna. Furthermore, also plenty of opportunities for excursions. Definitely a place to another to go.
We have been celebrating a great week vacation. This cottage has its flaws but it does offer many opportunities.
We were very warmly received. we were the only guests at that time (it was off season). The contact with the landlords went very pleasant and we are even invited to a private party. The apartment was spacious and very complete. The large communal garden we had at that time for ourselves. Although there is still outside renovation work took place we had there is no hindrance.
the house is ideal as a base for cultural excursions to Vienna, Melk and St Polten The Danube is nearby and hence you can easily bike lance both sides of the Danube, the Wachau is very beautiful The house has the necessary comfort, is spacious and very friendly caretaker
