Stunning, Stunning, Stunning location

  • 5 of 5

This villa is in the most wonderful "get away from it all" location - with the beach almost all to yourselves. The small village of Plouneour - Trez is a 15 minute (lovely) walk away or 5 minutes max by car. There are a couple of lovely restaurants , a cafe, a bar and a small well stocked supermarket in the village and a really nice creparie at the campsite - less than 5 minutes walk along the beach. We very much enjoyed watching the world cup matches in the village bar of Les Mouettes - the locals were all very friendly and put up with our badly spoken french very admirably.

Louis and Sebastein were so helpful - we only had to contact them twice, but each time they responded immediately and were extremely helpful. They were also very helpful with the whole booking process.

The villa is really lovely - 2 spacious and light bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs and one huge master bedroom and en-suite upstairs with a balcony with amazing views.

The living area of the pool is ideally sized for 6 people and the pool area and the garden is lovely. There is also a games room and a uitllity basement. There is also ample space for parking in the front gated garden.

The nearby towns of Lesneven and Brest are worth visiting and are 15 mins by car or 40 mins for Brest. We also visited much further afield whilst we were there and had some lovely days out visiting Quimper, Rennes and Mont. St Michel.

If you want a really relaxing and quiet holiday - then this really is the villa and location for you as sometimes all you could hear was the sound of the sea and the occasional seagull. Long beach walks every day with the pool or the sea to cool down in. Perfect.

I would very much like to come back and explore more of the beatiful region of Brittany with it's fascinating history. This villa is a very good place to start.

Stunning Beachside Villa, Cant Wait to Return!!

  • 5 of 5

Having just returned from staying at Villa Kerurus, I’m pleased to be able to confirm that the villa and location is even more breathtaking than the pictures suggested.

The views from the villa are stunning and waking to the sound of the waves in the morning was a lovely experience. The beach is literally an extension of the back garden and it was great to be able to explore some of the beautiful coastline both on foot and by bike, which were available for us to borrow in the garage.

We also made use of the 2 person kayak on several occasions, which my 12 year old son especially liked and life jackets were provided too. There were plenty of other amenities available such as the pool, swings, inflatables, table football and some children toys. The villa felt safe and secure, was tastefully decorated and was maintained impeccably inside and out.

Whilst amazingly quiet and providing the feeling of being ‘away from it all’, there was also a local village only 5 mins drive or 15mins bike ride away, which became a regular trip every morning to stock up on essentials at the patisserie and little supermarket. Their was also an extremely impressive tourist information centre, as well as a bar, tabac and several other little shops.

For a more substantial shop, their is a hyper market about 20mins up the road in Lesneven, as well as a few other shops and a McDonalds as well if you really must! I would also recommend a trip to Oceanopolis and the Chateau over in Brest if the weather isn't so nice or you just fancy a day trip out.

It wasn't just the villa that impressed and my whole family would like to thank Mrs Quere for making us feel welcome and looked after from the moment we arrived. We received a warm reception on arrival like we were family and she was only ever a phone call away throughout our stay for any questions that we had.

I’d also like thank Sebastien for helping so much with the booking and for quickly responding to all my questions, making me feel as though nothing was ever too much trouble for him!

We all very much look forward to returning again very soon! :-)

Magnifique vue

  • 4 of 5

  • 5 of 5

Magnifique semaine

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5
