Our house in the south of France is located in the cozy village of St. Quentin la Poterie.
The city is, in our opinion, in a butterfly surrounded by vineyards, close to the charming medieval town of Uzés.
In driving distance to a myriad of sights, bl. a. Pont du Gard, Nimes, Avignon and
Montpellier. There is ample opportunity for outdoor activities such as cycling, canoeing / kayaking, trekking, etc. Are you for wine and gastronomy, you do not go in vain here too.
The actual St. Quentin la Poterie is, as the name might give an indication of, known for its ceramics, here are countless working workshops, as well as a ceramics museum. The town has several good restaurants / cafes, shops and a weekly market (Friday).
City and area are definitely worth a visit.
