Pretty little house in the countryside but not isolated. Completely renovated in April 2014. Large garden sheltered from the wind, under the trees. With garden furniture, barbecue, sunbathing, sun and shading. A bathroom with bathtub, a bedroom and a large living room with kitchen and partly separate dining area can accommodate you, whether you are two people, or with 1 or 2 children. Many storage and a good level of equipment facilitate your stay.
A small balcony, south, for breakfast if you come in winter, communicates with the garden or you have to choose between a dining area with an electric barbecue, a sitting area with chairs and coffee table under the trees. And if you came to Provence for the sun, you can place your 'sunbathing' ... in full sun behind the house.
The interior equipment of the house is impeccable
Bathroom with bath and toilet.
A room with big cupboard, bed of 160x200, bedside tables and small office.
Large living room divided into a kitchen and dining area, isolated from each other by a large shelf.
In the kitchen, ceramic hob, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, and oven to allow you to warm your pizza, cook your chicken or make your child's birthday cake.
The sitting area opens through a French window to the small balcony and allows direct access to the garden. It is equipped with a couch sofa that can be opened in a double bed (sleeping 80x200 or 160x200)
An extra bed is available if you need 2 separate single beds. You will also have, on request, an 'umbrella bed' for your baby. This sofa will allow you to comfortably watch television, read, or relax when the weather does not allow you to enjoy the outdoors.
Internet access. Wireless
Iron and board.
The 'little house' is accessible by a private road that serves 2 houses, the Grande and Petite. These two houses are completely separate from each other but have in common a large private parking where your car (s) will be parked safely.
The house is backed by Gros Brain Hill, a protected nature and forest area. The property is adjacent to a hiking trail giving access to all walks of the Gros Brain Massif and the GR. Many well-marked paths allow, starting from the house, multiple walks that can be short and easy for young children or, on the contrary, of varied length and level. One of them, particularly pleasant, called 'Twilight Hike', takes place every year during a full moon weekend in late September or early October. You can join from the house, the very long line of participants and return at night in the endless line of 'frontals' that illuminate the entire hill!
But the house is also very close (5 'by car or 20' on foot), beautiful beaches that surround the bay of Bandol, just farther from all the water activities proposed on the ports of Bandol and Sanary.
A few minutes walk from the house, the beautiful 'Exotic Garden' and the 'Garden of Olives' Sanary.
All the useful shops (supermarket, bakery, fruits and vegetables, fishmonger, cheeses, butcher's shop) are less than 2 km away, accessible without traffic jams and without problem of parking, by the small road.
The region is very pleasant in all seasons. The south facing and sheltered mistral allows you to enjoy the garden at noon and in the evening.
The house is close to the bays of Sanary and Bandol, which allows you to enjoy all the water activities in season, individually or in a club (swimming, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking, water skiing etc ...)
But, all year long, its situation allows to easily radiate in the region and to visit the islands of Bendor and interesting Embiez all the year, the beautiful hilltop villages of La Cadière D'Azur and Castellet, the big weekly market renowned of Sanary. Most Wineries of AOC Bandol are within a radius of 5 to 10 km. The Beau Golf de Dolce Frégate is at the same distance.
A little further, but perfectly adapted for a walk of the day (between 1/2 h and 1 hour of car):
Marseille, its Old Port, the new MUCEM museum, the Docks, the Panier district, the Estaque.
The beautiful city of Aix en Provence and its Festival of lyrical art in summer.
The islands of Hyères, Porquerolles, superb in any season but wonderful in summer because of the diversity of its beautiful beaches that you will visit on foot or by bike. Port Cros, more Mediterranean and more intimate.
The Abbey of Thoronnet, the Basilica of Saint Maximin the Holy Baume for Heritage lovers.
The Dom Forest, Notre Dame des Anges, Collobrière and the Chartreuse de la Verne, in autumn and winter, when the strawberry trees are both white flowers and red berries, and the chestnuts turn into ice chestnuts at Collobrière.
The Crest Road, Cassis, Cassis Calanques, beautiful in all seasons.
So many walks made easier by the proximity of the Bandol interchange
