Come experience the best of modern indoor and outdoor coastal living in our beautiful oceanview accommodations, just 4 houses from the great recreational beach at 40th Street. By combining the front, two-story main house with the rear upstairs unit, larger family groups of 14 guests or less are able to enjoy an amazing home in an equally amazing beach location!

The front entry patio welcomes guests of this main house with a comfy lounge chair and ottoman on the right side. (The left portion of the patio, with outdoor dining table and barbecue facilities, is reserved for the rear upstairs unit's guests) Just inside the front patio lies a private, enclosed courtyard with propane BBQ and couch seating, which can be accessed from the master bedroom as well.

Stepping through the front door or adjacent sliding glass door, the ground floor en suite master bedroom with flat panel TV features a lovely contemporary bath with dazzling tile work, dual sinks and large glass steam shower. (Our apologies: the bedroom fireplace is currently not operable) Two additional first floor bedrooms with queen beds share a hall bath with tub and shower. A handy access door to and from the garage is located in this area.

A grand staircase invites guests up to the second floor's spacious main living areas, including the living, dining and kitchen headquarters. Expansive windows surround the entire living space, with glorious views to a large furnished deck and the sparkling Pacific Ocean beyond. The sizeable sectional sofa in the living room provides ample seating for enjoying the beach views, TV, or conversation, depending on the mood. (Our apologies: the living room fireplace is currently not operable) Extra sleeping arrangements are supplied by the full-size pullout portion of the sofa. Dine in style at the glass table with chair and bench seating for 6, plus three contemporary swivel barstools at the kitchen counter. The roomy kitchen is a cook's dream, with beautiful tile and back splash, marble countertops and stainless appliances. A fourth bedroom with queen bed and flat panel TV is just around the corner with a nearby half bath.

The rooftop deck is nicely furnished with cushioned outdoor couches, chairs, tables and an umbrella for everyone to be able to enjoy cool ocean breezes, warm evenings and relaxing get-togethers while taking in the ocean views and the sound of the surf. A handy propane gas grill is also provided on this deck to accompany the outdoor dining table with seating for 6-8. An additional outdoor dining and barbecue area is located on the ground level at the front of the main house.

The lovely contemporary living room of the separate, rear upstairs unit has wood-look plank flooring, a cool blue sofa, decorative chair and ceiling fan. Stainless appliances in the kitchen make meal prep and clean-up a breeze. Dine at the kitchen counter featuring four counter stools.

The primary bedroom is outfitted with a queen bed and access to a small balcony deck with two chairs. The second bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds. The remodeled bathroom boasts a spacious walk-in shower with custom tile work.

The property is situated close enough to conveniently walk or bicycle to shops and restaurants, but far enough away to avoid too much tourist activity.

NOTE: Because the rear upstairs unit is not connected internally to the front main house, parental supervision of children and any guests under 25 is mandatory at all times in both front and rear units - especially overnight. The rear unit is not permitted to operate as a "kids' room". It is a home.

PARKING: Two tandem garages provide a total of 4 parking spaces.

Laundry facilities are located in the main house garage.

An updated outdoor shower room, accessed along the inland side walkway, is ideal to remove all the after-beach sand before entering the home.

Due to the moderate coastal climate, this house (like most in the area) DOES NOT have air conditioning. However, there are ceiling fans throughout to enhance the cool ocean breezes.
